You & I
➵ Victon: Sejun x fem. reader / drabble, boyfriend AU / fluff
➵ warnings: none
➵ word count: 262
“Baaabe, what are you doing?”
A smile tugs at your lips when you hear the slight pout in your boyfriend’s voice. “Looking up how to deal with whiny, attention seeking boyfriends.”, you answer, pretending to read something on the computer screen in front of you. Sejun huffs in mock exasperation. “But you love when I’m whiny.”, he says cheekily and you grin, turning around to face him, gently brushing your lips against his. He smiles, nuzzling your nose. “Wrong. I love you and that sadly entails loving your whining as well.”, you finally reply and he grins in triumph, showing off his dimples. “Well, just for the record - I love you too.”, he murmurs against your lips, before drawing back and stretching both arms over his head, yawning and exposing a flash of his flat stomach. You playfully poke his belly button and he yelps, quickly darting out of reach.
You just wiggle your eyebrows at him, before turning back to your computer screen. “You’ll be finished soon, right?”, Sejun asks again and you giggle, nodding without looking at him. “Give me about... half an hour. Then we can watch a movie and cuddle all evening, okay? Just you and I.”, you answer and he claps his hands together, sounding happy and excited. “Yes, perfect. I’ll order food and build a blanket fort for us.” And with that, he finally leaves the room. You can’t help but shake your head at his antics, a loving smile gracing your face.
Yes, your boyfriend might be an attention seeker... but a really cute one.

Summary: After a rather turbulent relationship with Byungchan that went on for about two years you one night decided to get married.
Genre: Fluff!
Pairing: Idol!Byungchan x Reader
he was holding your hands in his
you could feel how sweaty they were but it was okay you were just as nervous
the kitschy music tootled through out the small 24/7 chapel
the place was decorated horribly, that the two of you agreed on
everything was pastel pink and red
hearts on the walls and plastic roses everywhere
the way you guys looked was completely polar to the tasteless interior
a blue crewneck sweatshirt and jeans for him
a band shirt and straightly jeans for you
but besides the fact this was not a planned wedding at all
it wasn’t a shotgun marriage either
you loved each other dearly - it just took you a lot of time and trouble to realise
being students you got in the car and drove to each others places to get at least the IDs
next stop was the registers office
but just now: there were just the two of you
“Did you prepare your own vows?” The officiant asked you
“Did you prepare your own vows?” The officiant asked you
and you were taken bit aback by that question because honestly you haven’t been thinking that far ahead
“I didn’t but I’ll make it work.” Byungchan said and went first
a stood up straight and looked you in the eye, looking past them to find you in there
Byungchan cleared his throat and began
“My company is going to hate me for this. My parents as well. But the company more. You know when we had that non dating clause at the very beginning I felt helpless. I thought ‘How will I ever fall in love or have a relationship if I am not allowed to see anyone??’ Little did I know.” He laughed and it made you smile
because you know where he was going with this
he told you about it
Byungchan told you about how he tried dating people secretly
dating other idols and 1 or 2 actresses but how it never worked out because of work, because of his entertainment or their company
how there were always fans involved or hiding from them or both
“One day I met you completely by accident.”
“It was a literal accident.” You snickered.
“Still the best collision I’ve ever had. But more importantly: You gave me your phone number for the insurance. Which I consider luck until this day. U called me a week later to check if anything remained unresolved or if the insurance took care of everything.”
“And you lied to me, told me there was a problem we had to discuss just to see me again.”
“I did. But see where it got us.”
He took a deep breath.
“All I want to say it that even with everything that happened to us and will happen in the future I am considering that day the most important day of my life and I don’t regret anything. Because I love you. Now you go.”
That last remark made you laugh. “Are we taking turns on this?”
“Thats traditionally how this works, yes.”
“Alright then.”
You took a second to gather your thoughts. Saying exactly what you want to say has always been difficult for you
“I told you a million times to hit the road. I came up with a hundred reasons why this doesn’t work out. I broke up with you ... two times?”
Byungchan nodded and turned towards the officiant smilingly as if that would be something people were usually proud of. “Two times.”
“But we always ended up getting together. Our paths crossed so many times it became annoying. I remember thinking at some points how this whole thing was just a joke because there you were again. Your manager dragged you into our shop. A place you didn’t even knew I was working there. I guess fate does work in mysterious ways. There were times I hurt you. There were times you hurt me. I guess the members didn’t always like me and some of them may still hold a grudge against me for whatever reason. I can think of a few reasons why my parents wouldn’t want me to marry you but let me tel you something:”
You smiled brightly: “I don’t care. They are not the ones married to an idol. I am. And I have to deal with it. I know by marrying you, I will be practically be married to you, the other members and the company but it’s all worth it as long as I can have you to be a part of my life. That’s all I want.”
the officiant smiled. “That was ... really something. Now it’s time for the rings!”
“Oh, but we don’t have any.” You shook your head. “You see this is a very spontaneous thing, so ...”
“Well I can tell that by the way you are dressed.” She laughed. “But I guess your fiancé came prepared.”
You looked over to Byungchan who had let go of your hands to pull something out of his jeans pocket
“We have at least one ring. I guess that’s half the battle.” He laughed as he opened his wallet and pulled out a very simple and natural ring.
“Why do you have a ring on you and why is it just one??” You asked suspiciously looking back and forth between him and the ring.
“Because I have been thinking about this for quite a while and I had Seungwoo help me pick one for you. Because...”
“... he has great taste in fashion.” the two of you said with one voice and laughed at it simultaneously
while the officiant lady went on about actually marrying the two of you with all the classic “Will you”s and “do you accept the”s followed and closed by a “therefore I pronounce you husband and wife.” you just looked at him
the guy who bump into your car at a red light
the guy who so nonchalantly ticked you into your first date
the guy who now was your spouse
and all you could think about how you must be the luckiest woman in the world
and how you would explain this to your family, his family and the members
but that was something for another day

Playing With Fire .8
LISA
He watched me carefully as I climbed back down, I went to move forwards but a branch had caught the back of my dress, the momentum of my own movements caused the branch to yank me back slightly and I almost slipped.
"Be careful,"
"I'm always careful, relax," I assured him.
I turned to unhook the branch but it had caught my dress a little higher than I'd thought, I tried to re-adjust my position to reach it better, which was a little difficult with me being it a tree and only being able to move a restricted amount due to the whole me being caught, thing. In trying to unhook myself my foot slipped and I lost my balance completely falling from the branch. I tried to reach for one of the branches I was falling past but they seemed to just slip through my fingers.
The fall wouldn't cause any serious harm unless I hit my head but I was definitely going to break something, I was hoping it would be a wrist or elbow so I could still dance, I know it will be difficult to dance with a cast but I won't have the recovery time and instability a broken leg would give me.
I sucked in a breath as I hit the ground.
WOO
"You two are good together," my dad smiled as we watched Ah Ri make her way towards the bathroom, it wasn't as creepy as it sounded.
"We're not like that dad,"
"I know, I'm just saying you're good together. Also, it seems one of you is getting a little bored of the sleeping around,"
"She sleeps around more than I do. I don't think she plans on stopping anything soon,"
"I wasn't talking about her, but just remember her when you decide you want more than short-lived flings and one-night stands, besides she knows how to handle you, that's the type of girl you need, " he patted my shoulder walking away.
SUNDAE
I felt my stomach in my throat when I saw her slip off the branch, I didn't have time to think, my body moved before my brain even engaged and suddenly Lisa was in my arms. Her eyes were tightly shut, she was holding her breath and her whole body was tensed up. Slowly she opened her eyes, exhaled slowly, and relaxed almost instantly in my arms. I held her close to my chest for a few moments before placing her carefully on the ground.
Once her feet were on the ground and I could see her standing in front of me perfectly fine, I noticed the tightness in my chest, and my breathing had become short and quick.
"Sundae," Lisa frowned, I place my hand over my chest and tried to control my breathing but it just seemed to get worse, breathing was becoming difficult.
LISA
Why don't I think things through?
His face was starting to lose its colour, his hand was in a fist over his chest as he struggled to breathe normally. I quickly ran through the breathing techniques he'd learnt trying to remember the steps and what would be best for the current situation.
I reached out and took a hold of his hand trying to unclench his fist but he wouldn't budge.
"Hey, unclench," I spoke calmly.
I wasn't positive he was going to even register my words, but he finally uncurled his fingers after I repeated myself a few times. I placed his hand palm side on his stomach and held it in place with my own hand.
"In through your nose," I instructed, he continued to wheeze through his mouth,
"Sundae, you have to breathe in through your nose," I carefully placed my free hand over his mouth so he'd inhale through his nose.
"Okay, now out through the mouth, close your eyes, and concentrate on your hand, feel it moving with your breathing," I moved my hand from his mouth to let his exhale.
"Slowly," I sighed.
He had to repeat the same action another 7 times before he could focus himself and another few times after that before his breathing went back to its regular pace, which is still more than normal people.
"Are you okay?" I chewed on my bottom lip, he just nodded eyes still closed.
"I'm sorry," I let out a breath.
My hand was still over his which was still place on his stomach, he let out another breath before turning his hand to lace his fingers in mine. He opened his eyes slowly to look at me and then smiled.
"I'm okay,"
"No, you're not,"
"I am now, I just got scared. Put your shoes back on so we can go inside before you mother comes looking for you again," the way he smiled you wouldn't think he's just hyperventilated, except I knew him and I could see it in his eyes that the attack had drained him.
I didn't bother arguing, I walked back over to where I'd left my shoes ignoring the stinging in my foot where I'd cut it open on the branch. If Sundae noticed I'd hurt myself he might send himself into another attack with worrying, it couldn't be that bad, I would just deal with it when we got home.
I slid my feet back into the shoes and noticed the short trail of blood patched from where I'd been standing to where I'd left my shoes. I was worried Sundae might notice but his eyes were focused on me as if he were worried I was going to disappear if he looked away. He usually got like that after his attacks, though he hasn't had one in a while, he was usually very good with controlling his breathing and not getting too worked up, but I suppose there's no real way to stay calm when someone you love is falling out of a tree.
"Come on," I laced our fingers and lead him back towards the doors.
"Hey stop for a second," Sundae stopped, the sudden stop sent a jolt through my foot.
"I thought you were okay?" I frowned looking back.
"I am, put this on," he nodded letting go of my hand and sliding his jacket off.
"What are you doing? You need to stay warm,"
"Lalice, I'm fine," he slipped the jacket over my shoulders.
"I'm not cold, though,"
"You ripped your dress," he gave me a small smile.
"Crap," I let out a sigh putting the jacket on properly.
"Now you can't tell," he smiled taking my hand again.
I stared at him for a minute, I could see that he was trying hard to not look as exhausted as he felt, which just made me feel guilty. I know how much his hyperventilation attacks drain him, even the small ones. I let out another sigh and led him back into the foyer, the quicker this is over with, the quicker he can go home and sleep.
There were a lot more people in here than there were before we left, my mother looking over in my direction glaring for a brief second until someone tried to talk to her and she had to put her people face on. Being annoyed at her helped me forget the pain I felt when I put too much pressure on my right foot. It was seriously hard to walk normally and not put an excessive amount of pressure on my foot.
It wasn't long before I had a little pair of arms wrapped around my leg. I looked down to see Gummy all dressed up n his black dress pants, white button up shirt, and pinstriped waistcoat. I reached down and picked him up, I regretted it instantly, it was hard to not react to the pain shooting through my foot, I was a little worried it was worse than I'd originally thought but I still couldn't do anything about it until I got home so I had no choice but to persevere and act like nothing was wrong.
"You look pretty," Gummy smiled.
"Do I? I think you look better than I do,"
"You've been naughty," he smirked pulling a leaf out of my hair.
"How did that get there," I faked surprised.
"Shall we put the leaf back outside?" Sundae suggested.
"No, I'm going to keep it," he frowned at me sliding the leaf into the pocket of his waistcoat.
"What are you going to do with it?" I asked putting him back on the floor.
"It's a secret," he shrugged.
I could see my mother looking at us from the corner of my eyes, I turned my head to look at her which must have been what she wanted because the second I did she waved us over. I restrained myself from rolling my eyes at her.
"Let's go see mum," I held my hand out for Gummy to take hold of.
"Do we have to?" he huffed.
"How are they suppose to unveil their exhibit without us?"
"Open the doors," he shrugged.
"Come on little man, the quicker we get those doors open the quicker we can see the cool things your parents found," Sundae said.
"Then we can eat," he added.
"Kay," he sighed grabbing hold of both mine and Sundae's hand so he was walking between us as we made our way over to my mother.
She gave me a look to suggest she was going to tell me everything I've done wrong tonight once we were out of earshot of those who had gathered to watch my mother play happy family and unveil her next accomplishment, which, if we're being honest, isn't all that remarkable.
KANGSIK
Everyone took their time looking through the artefacts of the new exhibit, I was on my way to find the others when my parents finally found me. They'd been late because something had come up at the company but they were usually late for things because they were busy at the company.
"Hey son," my father nodded.
"You look handsome," my mother hugged me before adjusting my blazer to sit properly.
"Thank you," I smiled.
"How is everything?" he asked.
"It's good, I feel like I'm a little behind with my studying because we spent a week in Busan before school went back, but for the most part everything is fine," I nodded.
"Honey, you've always been ahead in your studies, I'm sure you're not behind at all,"
"I suppose, oh, did Rose call you?"
"No, have you spoken to her?"
"I spoke to her this morning and told her she needed to call you," I nodded, I spotted Lisa out the corner of my eye limping towards the doors for the garden.
"Did she sound okay?"
"She's fine, she's just been busy studying, it's getting towards the end of the year for them so things are a little hectic," I stated still watching Lisa, she was on her own which in itself was weird, especially for one of these events.
"Oh, right,"
"I'm sure she'll call tomorrow, she probably fell asleep," I assured her.
"Did you think of anything she might like for her birthday?"
"I asked her about it, all she said was a surprise," I shrugged still looking in the direction of Lisa, no one had followed her so I was guessing Sundae didn't know she'd hurt herself.
"That's something I suppose," she sighed,
"I'll talk to Lisa about it, why don't you go enjoy the exhibit?"
"Come find us later," she nodded.
I followed after Lisa, she was sitting on her own on one of the benches with a handful of tissues pressed to her foot. She looked up shocked and slightly worried, but relaxed when she realised it as me approaching her.
"I thought you were Sundae," she let out a sigh.
"Strange reaction for thinking I was Sundae," I leant down in front of her taking her foot from her.
"Not if he can't know I hurt myself,"
"What did you do? And why can't Sundae know?" I pulled the tissues from her foot, some had stuck to her.
"I cut my foot open falling out of that tree," she pointed at the tree across the path from where she sat.
"And why can't Sundae know?"
"Because he had an attack after I fell," she looked down at her lap, guilt covering her face.
I let out a sigh holding back any comments that came to mind, she already felt bad enough without me making her feel worse.
"Well, these tissues aren't going to be much help. Stay here and I'll get the first aid kit from my car,"
"What if he comes out?"
"Put your shoe back on and tell him you needed some air," I shrugged.
"I'm not going to lie,"
"You lie to everyone else,"
"So, everyone else isn't Sundae," she frowned.
"Then tell him your feet hurt and you wanted to sit down, Just stay here until I come back," I shrugged again.
"Okay,"
I almost walked into Sundae as I made my way back through the foyer, he was frowning, not paying attention to where he was walking because he was looking around the room, presumably for Lisa.
"Have you seen Lisa?" he asked me.
"Yeah, she was over there a minute ago, I think she went to the bathroom,"
"Oh, okay. Where are you off too?"
"To get something out of my car,"
"Alright, well everyone's going to be moving into the function room soon,"
"Okay," I nodded continuing out to the car.
LISA
"There you are," Sundae came out the doors.
"My feet were sore, I just wanted to sit down for a minute," I'd put my shoe back on when Kangsik left, I figured it would look weird if I rushed when Sundae eventually came out.
"Give them here," he sat down next to me offering a foot massage.
"No, it's okay. They're not that bad,"
"Why don't we go inside? It's cold out here and everyone's about to move into the function room for dinner and speeches," he stood up offering me his hand.
"I'm going to sit here for a little longer, it's nice out here. I'll be in soon,"
SUNDAE
She looked as drained as I felt, there was definitely something off about her, she wasn't acting like Lisa. Maybe that was something to do with her mother, but judging by her not being able to look me directly in the eye for too long, I was assuming she was feeling guilty about earlier.
I didn't blame her. She was just trying to distract herself from her mother, how was she to know she'd get stuck and fall? Honestly, I was probably overdue for a hyperventilation attack, I hadn't had one in so long and that was completely her doing. She could see the signs I ignored and she was quick at defusing me before I'd get too worked up and bring on an attack. She has rarely been the cause, but the few times she has been, she fills herself with guilt and beats herself up about it for days.
"Lalice, I'm fine," I let out a sigh kneeling down in front of her.
LISA
He was not, I could tell he was fighting to keep his eyes open, and I could guarantee his eyes not only hurt but there was a headache either forming or already formed right behind those tired eyes. And of course I felt guilty, but I felt worse sitting here waiting for Kangsik to come and help me, I felt like I was lying to Sundae. Like I was keeping this big secret. We didn't hide things from each other.
"You're tired," I finally spoke.
"I'm fine, Let's just of inside, eat our meal, listen to their speeches and go home, huh?"
KANGSIK
Sundae was kneeling in front of her when I got back, he really did look exhausted. I was sure someone inside would notice, but most would likely put it down to the workload from the university and just being overtired, I hid the first aid kit behind my back and wondered out casually.
"Sundae, someone inside was looking for you," I stated.
"Who?" he frowned standing up.
"No idea, they were by the information desk though," I shrugged.
"Okay, are you coming?" he turned back to Lisa offering his hand.
"I'll be in soon," she nodded, he hesitated before letting out a sigh, too tired to argue with her he nodded before making his way inside.
"Alright, foot," I instructed sitting down next to her patting my lap.
She turned her whole body so she could put her foot up on my lap, blood covered most of her foot. I clean that up first, blood still seeping slowly out of one of the cuts, I sighed pulling the antiseptic spray from the box and coating her foot with it. She hissed glaring at me.
"Here, clean the blood out of your shoe," I rolled my eyes at her handing her a moist towelette.
I ended up having to pull a few splinters out before I could put the dressing over the freshly disinfected cuts. After treating her foot, she slid it back into her now clean shoe, she tried to stand but I stopped her crouching down in front of her, pulling her foot from the other shoe to check the bottom. It was slightly cut up, not as bad as the other one, it just needed a little antiseptic and a few band-aids.
"You have a bad habit of hurting yourself," I sighed sliding her shoe back on and helping her to her feet.
"Ow," she frowned.
"It's still going to hurt, just because they're properly treated doesn't mean the pain will disappear,"
"Hey Kangsik, shut up," she huffed, I rolled my eyes.
"And thank you," she let out a sigh.
"You're welcome, now go inside before Sundae comes to get you or figures out no one was looking for him," I ushered her away.
SUNDAE
We were all finally seated at our respective tables, we were all sat together at the same table with Woo's dad, probably at his request. He was never big on the being an adult, that's more his wife's thing. Once everyone had quietened down the speeches started.
Lisa's mother's turn came and she got up to the podium and started thanking people. She started thanking her family and stating how lucky she was to have such wonderful children, she then went on to praise Lisa which turned Lisa's otherwise neutral expressing to a progressively more irritable one.
She clenched was clenching her jaw, trying to keep an unaffected facial expression, only because people kept looking back at her like she was lucky to have a mother like that. If they only knew. I let out a breath sliding my hand under the table squeezing her hand, she relaxed slightly once I'd linked our fingers. Using my thumb I traced circles on the outside of her hand.
LISA
"I'll never understand why so many people have to get up and talk in detail about a collection of old cookware from a billion years ago," Woo sighed once everyone had finally finished talking.
"It's not just old cookware, there are bones and artefacts as well," Kangsik started one of his history lessons.
"Honestly, how many people do you need to thank for digging in the ground?" Woo ignored him.
"I think you're hungry, shut up and eat," Ah Ri frowned pushing the plate that had been placed down through my mother's speech towards Woo,
My mother would probably have a complaint about that, I can almost guarantee she would carry on about how they could have waited a little longer to serve dinner so that the attention was on her. She's like that, my mother. Needs to have the attention, but only if everything is perfect and only if she considers you to be worth her time.
She lives comfortably with her two face attitude, most people in this room would think she was so lovely after hearing all the things she had to say about me, but I know for a fact she was full of it, just lying to uphold the appearance she tries so hard to convey. I know because she says the exact opposite of all of it the second no one else can hear. I would say her favourite pass time is insulting and belittling me, but that would mean I was worth the time.
SUNDAE
Her alarm went off, I kind of woke up and rolled over to go back to sleep, I expected the weight change in the bed, she did move but then sighed and slide back into bed cuddling into my side once more. I frowned, I thought maybe I'd gone back to sleep and this was her coming home, it wouldn't be the first time I'd slept without feeling as though I had.
I opened my eyes slightly to look at the clock next to our bed, it read; 5:03 a.m.
"What are you doing?" I asked rubbing my eyes.
"Sleeping," she mumbled.
"Why aren't you running?"
"I wanted to sleep in,"
"Why?"
"Just because," she yawned.
"You never want to sleep in, the only times you don't run is if you're sick and I won't let you, or you've hurt yourself," I frowned trying to figure out why she was still in bed.
"I'm just tired today," she whined.
"What did you do?"
"Are you staying because I had an attack last night?" I sighed.
"No,"
"Then why aren't you running?"
"You don't like it when I run this early anyway,"
"Soit is because of my attack?" I frowned, she sighed sitting up.
"It's not because of your attack, I hurt my foot when I fell out of the tree last night,"
"How bad?" I frowned sitting up.
"I just cut them up a little bit, I'm fine,"
"That's why you didn't want to come in from the garden," I sighed rubbing my face to wake up a little.
"Yeah, Kangsik cleaned them up and put a dressing on them, they're just a little sore," she shrugged.
"Why didn't you say something?" I sighed.
"That would be because of your attack,"
"Well, if you can't run. We may as well get some more sleep," I let out a sigh laying back don and pulling her with me.

Lycan Rising | M
Goddess Series
* Victon supernatural werewolf
Seungwoo X fem reader X Sejun
M- Mature (smut, violence, gore, crude humor, etc.)
———————————————————
.02
“You went out without your Beta! Are you out of your fucking mind.” Your father growled at you as soon as you step foot inside the mansion. You walked passed him as everyone eyed you.
“Y/n!” Your father yelled some more but you were used to him being angry, so you’ve grown to ignore him. Your father struck fear in everyone... except you. You quickly got ready for bed hoping that you would dream about Sejun even for just a second.
**
The next morning you were off to the city with Heyin, as you promised her you would go shopping. Little did you know that her goal was to buy you something sexy to wear on the night of your ceremony.
“Heyin, seriously?” You say kind of annoyed as you both enter the lingerie store.
“What? There is nothing wrong with preparing for the most important night of your life.” Heyin says with a giggle. You tired to give her a genuine smile but you couldn’t, something was off with you.
As you looked around, you got a small whiff of honey and your eyes then suddenly enlarged, as well as your desire. It was his smell. You needed to see him, so you quickly snuck out while Heyin was in deep conversation with one of the sales ladies. It was the city , so you couldn’t transform and follow the smell although it would be quicker, yet you needed to stay concealed. You got a heavier whiff but this time it was laced with something else. Every emotion is a scent but this scent was different, something you’ve never smelled ... it was sour, almost rotten. That caused your heart to race...you needed to find him.
***
“Fuck you!” Sejun says as you see him tied onto a chair , bleeding from almost being beaten to death. As you approach you held back the desire to run inside the warehouse , you couldn’t risk putting him in more danger. You could hear everything and smell the pain he was in. Not only was Sejun in physical pain he was emotionally suffering as well. How could you feel it too?
“Killing me isn’t going to get you what you want!” Sejun says as he spits out blood. He was addressing a room full of thugs. They smelled of expensive cologne and cigars.
“Tell your father to agree to our demands or else his only son will die.” Sejun then began to laugh maniacally but you could feel the pain behind it.
“You think my father gives a shit about me? Ha, then you have no idea who you’re dealing with. I’m a bastard child. I mean nothing.” Sejun says as a tear falls from his face and that was the last straw, you needed to intervene.
“Lay another hand on him and it will be the last thing you do.” You growl from behind the men. As your eyes met Sejun’s, you absentmindedly shed a tear.
“How dare you place a hand on him.” You roar this time , your eyes had changed from a hazel brown to a fierce blood red. Your body began to morph infront of them , your clothes ripped off as your stature quadrupled in size. Your fingers turned into long sharp claws. You were an alpha, the biggest and most powerful one that’s never been seen in decades. But this form... this specific form was new to you. Through your confused state of mind, you ignored the new revelations... even though you felt the power coursing through your veins, you had no time for personal questions.
“It’s a monster! Kill it!” One specific man yells, as some coward away , while other try their luck with you. As the sound of gun fire filled the warehouse , you charged at the men, ripping them in half. Then the warehouse went silent, quickly you made it to Sejun , as you had taken a shirt from a dead body to cover your naked human form.
“You’re ..you’re .” Sejun tries to say as you untie him. He was extremely weak.
“I need to take care of your wounds or you will die.” You say as you hear his heartbeat become faint.
**
“Little butterfly, why did you bring a human here?” The high priestess asks in a concerned tone.
“Because he’s dying.” You say, letting your tears fall. You’ve only met this human twice yet you were feeling things you’re never experienced before.
“Save him, please.” You plea as you grab his hand and face. Quickly, the priestess pushes you off of him and begins to tell you what to bring to her. As you stand back she starts chanting a mantra and begins to cover Sejun with leaves. This caused him to whine in pain which broke your heart but his heartbeat was picking up, which made you smile.
“Little butterfly, you need to personally take care of him but you need to take him somewhere else. Your father can’t find him.” The priestess warns as she squeezes your arm. You decided to take Sejun to the old sleeping quarters of the lower wolf breeds. These dorms were abandoned when your father decided to kill all the half breeds years ago.
You sat down next to him , admiring his sculptured face while also examining his lower region. He was a spectacular human specimen. Your fingers began to trace over his jaw, down to his neck, then to his abdomen. Sejun began to whine softly ,which caused you to jolt up.
“Sejun, how do you feel?” You ask as you take a seat next to him again.
“I feel surprisingly well, your hands are really warm.” Sejun says as he opens his eyes and sits up.
“Oh my. I’m so sorry, I really crossed the line.” You begin to apologize which cause him to laugh.
“Relax y/n, it’s okay. Wow, I’ve never met such a kind hearted werewolf.” Sejun says with a giggle.
“You remember my name?” You say with the biggest smile.
“Of course I remember your name, I’ve never seen such a beautiful werewolf like you.” Sejun says as he places a hand on your cheek.
“Sejun, your scent... it’s back to honey.” You say as you slowly approach his face. You wanted to hold back but something about him was driving you wild. Your lips finally met with his and at that moment you felt a shock go through your body. Sejun was still hurt but you couldn’t help but deepen the kiss. He tasted even better then you could ever imagine. You wanted to pull away and walk out but you couldn’t. Sejun then pulled you closer making you sit on his lap.
“No, your hurt.” You say as you straddle him.
“I feel perfectly fine.” Sejun whispers as he attaches his plump lips to your neck. His hands quickly make their way to your ass, since you were only wearing a T-shirt. You could feel his member at your core and you couldn’t help but growl. You both continued to deepen your kiss as you let your desire take a hold of you. It was more than just passion, it was deeper then that but you couldn’t figure it out.
“I hope I’m not interrupting anything.” The high preistess says causing you to get off the bed quickly and cover yourself.
“It smells like sweet honey.” She says as she turns her back to prepare some potion.
“Wait, you can smell him too? I thought it was only me.” You say surprised.
“No, the smell is coming from you.” She responds causing you to tilt your head in confusion.
“Butterfly, you need to shower and meet with your mate before he burns the city to the ground looking for you.” The high priestess reminds you, bringing back the fact that you had left your friend at the mall and it was clearly past midnight. You glance over to see Sejun but he didn’t meet your gaze. Does he possibly know what a mate is?
“Priestess, please take care of him, I will come visit him in the morning.” You say as you run out and head to your room for a cold shower. Then, you thought about it... what if the priestess didn’t show up? Would you have gone through with your desire? You needed Sejun to heal as fast as possible to get him out of the mansion grounds, you couldn’t let your father or worst... Seungwoo find him. Sejun had become someone important in your life in a matter of weeks. Why was that? Why were you always drawn to Sejun?
“Y/n, where the fuck did you go?” You hear Seungwoo shout as he barges into your room. You were about to get the lecture of a lifetime. Hopefully he doesn’t smell the honey.

Lycan Rising | M
Goddess Series
* Victon supernatural werewolf
Seungwoo X fem reader X Sejun
M- Mature (smut, violence, gore, crude humor, etc.)
——————————————————————
01.
“You are a monster, killing is all you know, don’t fight the instinct.” Is what you are told every single day by your father, your boyfriend and your pack. “If this is who I am then why does it feel wrong.” You tell yourself as you continue to shower after a long day of training. Every passing full moon you became stronger, your true calling was becoming more evident. You were to become the Alpha in your pack, the first female alpha...it was unheard of. Your father was the most ruthless and feared alpha. Even after your mother died he continued his dangerous lifestyle. Growing up you were groomed to be the Alpha and to be the head of the pack with your mate. At a younge age you found your mate according to your father. Seungwoo was your best friend who was destined to be your mate as you had both imprinted on each other. Finally after years of preparation you would have to seal yours and Seungwoos fate with the ceremony. But was he your true mate, you thought to yourself very often. You finally finished washing up and headed to your room to change , you were going to hang out with your pack for dinner. It was kind of a routine.
“Finally, our leader has arrived. I was afraid we were going to have to eat Subin.” Hanse, the pack clown say as he places his hand on the younger wolf’s back. Everyone began to giggle except for Subin, who did not find it funny. You took your seat next to your mate, as he began to place food on your plate. “So y/n when are you going to go through with the ceremony?” Hanse asks as be begins to stuff his face with food, the rest of the pack halts at the sudden question. “In two weeks.” You answer nonchalantly causing everyone in the room to gasp and begin to ask you questions. “My love, we haven’t even talked about it.” Seungwoo says in a hushed tone as if he wasn’t in a room full of werewolf’s. “I know Seungwoo but I also know that you’ve been ready since as long as I can remember and I’ve been the one holding us back.” You say as you caress his face. “Y/n, have you already spoken to your father and the high priests?” Byungchan, the softest yet tallest werewolf asks you. “I have already spoken with my father and I will speak to the high priestess tomorrow night.” You answers as the mood begins to lighten up. “Heyin, can you help me pick out my dress, I made an appointment in the city for Monday?” You ask one of your pack members but also your friend who so happened to be Hanse’s mate. “Of course, I’ve waited so long for you to ask.” Heyin says in the most genuinely gleeful tone. Finally the mood was back to being light as a feather.
“I’m so happy my love.” Seungwoo says in between kisses as you both make your way into your room. Dinner had been a total success, everyone was finally at ease because you were going to be an Alpha at last. This meant new responsibilities , a new form and for Seungwoo, it meant he would finally be able to fuck you. In your pack it is against tradition to have sex with your mate before the ceremony is conducted. Although you are able to fulfill your needs in other ways, actual penatration is forbidden and can result in banishment. So you and Seungwoo found other ways to help relieve some sexual tension between you guys. “You’re finally going to be all mine.” Seungwoo adds as he quickly takes yours and his shirt off and lays you on your bed. “I can’t wait to have your tummy filled with our puppies.” Seungwoo continues as he begins to leave little marks on your neck, chest and your abdomen. You couldn’t say anything but moan, your body felt different...it felt hotter then usual. As Seungwoo made his way to your core he removed your shorts and underwear and began to kiss the inside of your thighs. He then took a quick lick of your folds, the taste of your arosual made him growl in appreciation. “You taste sweeter my love, maybe because we will consummate our mating soon.” Seungwoo says as he attaches his plump lips to your nub and inserts one of his long fingers inside your aching core. Causing you to arch your back as you released a small growl that you’re never done before. “My love, I’ve never heard you growl like that.” Seungwoo says as he stops to look at your face,he loved hearing you growl for the first time. “Seungwoo please, don’t stop!” You demand as your eyes turn a vivid red causing your mate to become both a tad bit frightened and even more turned on. Seungwoo then began to message your clit while he pumped two fingers insider your core. Seungwoo has never seen you like this so he was getting even more excited to finally be inside of you. As you released on his tongue you couldn’t help but growl his name. While you tried to regain your strength, you felt Seungwoo’s arms on the side of your face. “I love you so much y/n.” Seungwoo says as he places a kiss on your lips.
As you drifted off into sleep, you couldn’t help but still feel hot temperature wise and you kept having the same dream. Or was it a memory? You were playing around with a young boy who had the deepest dimples and as your hands touched you felt a spark. This dream had been occurring more often as you got older but you couldn’t shake the fact that it felt more like a memory. The next morning you stayed asleep till about noon since you had a long day of training the day before. As you finally woke up you felt strange, you had a unsettling feeling in the gut of your stomach. As you head to the high priestess house you pass by the training facility to see Seungwoo mid combat. Seungwoo was the perfect specimen, if he wasn’t a Beta, he would of been an amazing alpha. As you look at him you can’t help ignore that feeling in your stomach. Maybe the high priestess will have an answer or at least a remedy.
“You’re late little butterfly.” The priestess says as she continues on with her normal work. “You are not feeling well.” She ask as she turns towards your slumped over frame. “I never really knew how you could feel my emotions better then anyone else could.” You say as you head over to hug her. “Butterfly, I am blind not heartless plus I can read you like a book.” The priestess spoke as she lead you to take a seat. “I heard you are going through with the ceremony soon.” She finally says breaking the ice. “Yes, I have decided to finally take my place.” You say as you sit up asserting your so-called dominance. “Little butterfly, sometimes it’s okay to fly away as long as you remember who you are.” The high priestess spoke light as a feather but the words hit you like a brick wall. As you sat their thinking about her words she begins to push you out the door. “Bye, bye now butterfly.” As you look towards the sunset you see it, the place you need to go to. The city.
You ran on all fours to the city, you couldn’t help but let your emotions guide you to where you needed to be. Until you stopped infront of a small dive bar. It had fallen to midnight by the time you gotten to the city. Your father always wanted to keep the pack as far away from humans as possible.
The Underground
You read the name of the bar out loud making it sounds a little better then it appeared. It was a rough place for a lady but you were an alpha so you decided to go inside. Their had to be a reason your heart led you to this dump of a bar. “Far from home aren’t we.” A big man says to you as you enter the bar, you quickly glance over to him and grin showing off your razor sharp canines. That shut him up very quickly, as you approach the bar you couldn’t help but hear a ruckus coming from the back of the place. “What do you mean, you lost fair a square , don’t be a bitch about it.” You hear a young voice say which causes your ear to twitch. A fight then broke out causing everyone to go to the back of the bar. You stayed seated since you hated meddling in the affairs of humans. That was until you got a whiff of blood, not just any blood but it smelled sweet kind of like honey. This caused you to get up and make your way to the commotion. As you approached everyone, the smell became stronger. You looked for the source of the smell, making your way into the circle to see two men holding one younger gentleman while a third one beat him. “Look sweetheart, this doesn’t concern you.” One of the men said to you but you didn’t care, your eyes were on the young man bleeding. “You’re done here.” You spoke as you took a couple more steps towards the captivating smell. “I said this doesn’t...” But before he could finish, you grabbed him by the neck and flung him across the room. “What the fuck...” Said another guy as he charged at you and you knocked him on his ass just as fast. “Any one else? I have the stamina of an animal.” You spoke up in more of a roar then an actually female tone. You went over to help the young man but he pushed you away and stumbled out of the bar. Even though he seemed hard headed, you couldn’t help but follow him out.
“Look dog, I don’t need your help.” The young man spoke up. He called you a dog? Did he possible know what you were?
“Oh I’m sorry, werewolf or lycan...whatever you want to be called, I didn’t need your help.” He spoke up causing your eyes to widen, how did a simple human know about your existence? “But you were clearly losing that battle , plus it didn’t seem fair.” You said in a calm tone trying to reason with the stubborn human. As you approached him you couldn’t help but want to lick him, his blood was intoxicating. But why? You weren’t a vampire, blood wasn’t your thing. But his blood was different. “Hey what are you...” Was all the stranger was able to say as you buried your face in his neck and placed your hands on his chest. Your eyes quickly began to travel along his neck, up to his lips then finally his eyes.
He wanted to push you away as he placed his hands on your arms but he stayed frozen, still looking into your eyes. “You smell like honey.” You say as you smile at him. “Thanks, I guess.” He replies in a low tone as he flashes you a side smile. As your eyes go to his lips you see his dimples...they were beautiful. “I’ve never seen a lycan as breathtaking as you.” He say as he pushes your hair behind your ear. “Thanks, I guess.” You say mimicking his response.
“Since we are already so close, why don’t we introduce ourselves, I’m Sejun. You?”
“My name is y/n. Nice to meet you.” You say as you back off of him and straighten yourself out to shake his hand. “Well, see you around y/n.” Sejun says as he walks away from you. “Wait.” You whisper towards his back but he continued to walk away. Why did you want him to wait? “Y/n!” You hear as your awaken from your dirty thoughts of the stranger you just met. “Y/n, what the hell are you doing in the city without permission and without protection.” Seungwoo hollers as he makes his way towards your frame. “Answer me.” Seungwoo says as he grabs you by your arm causing a heated tension to arise making you suddenly attack his face. Attaching your lips to his catching him off guard. “I want you in my mouth.” You say to Seungwoo making his face turn a bright red and his eyes turn yellow.
“What has gotten into you.....my love.” Seungwoo says in between moans as you take his member whole. As soon as he picked you up at the bar you couldn’t wait to have him. So you made him pull over and you reached over to take his member into your mouth. “Fuck.. your so passionate tonight love.” Seungwoo says but all you could think about was the stranger who smelled of honey. Sejun, even his name was attractive. Seungwoo didn’t last very long especially since you were determined. As you sat in the passenger seat you couldn’t help but think more of Sejun. Why was his smell so strong and why was it causing you to have such heat. As you look out the window, you couldn’t help but wish you would run into him again. Maybe for a little longer next time.

Reactions | M/F
Victon reacting to their S/O wearing a revealing outfit.
Seungwoo
Seungwoo wouldn’t protest your outfit choice because he loved your style. But he would make sure to give you so many compliments as well as keep his hands on you at all times. “Baby girl, I love this dress on you but I can’t wait to see what you have under it?” He would say as he places his hand on your lower back and placed a kiss on your neck.
Seungsik
Seungsik is such a shy baby but when he saw your short red dress he wasn’t having it. Mostly because he wanted to be the only one to see you in this dress. He would be very open about it and he would even take out other clothes for you to wear. “Baby I love that dress on you but do you really have to wear it out.” He would say one last time until you told him he could rip it off at the end of the night.
Chan
Chan loved everything you wore but he had his limits and when he saw the little black dress he wasn’t having it. “Baby girl where do you think you’re going in that dress?” He would ask as he made his way over to your frame. “This dress is only meant for my eyes.” He would say as he slowly began to caress your body. You couldn’t argue with him mostly because you liked to tease him.
Sejun
Sejun is such an adorable baby but he has a short temper especially when he doesn’t like something. So when he saw you picking out an outfit for the night he was very vocal with the outfits you were choosing. “I should be the only one to see you in these outfits.” He would say as he pouts and crosses his arms over his chest. “Fine, but im not going to let anyone look at you for too long, you’re only mine baby.” He would add as he caressed your frame knowing you were going to wear whatever you wanted anyways.
Hanse
Hanse may seem hard and tough but he’s actually pretty soft. So he would just whine about your outfit choice. But since you could convince him he would just have a mean mug during your whole night out. His face would ward off all the guys so he would feel proud of himself. “Okay baby, how about we go home and you show me who I belong too.” You whisper to Hanse causing him to jolt up in excitement as he pulled you towards the exit. “Those were the words I was waiting for baby girl!” Hanse would add before he brought you in by your waist.
Byungchan
Byungchan is a soft baby so he wouldn’t really object to your choice of clothes but he would whine a little. He would also make sure everyone knew that you were his girlfriend. He would cling to you like a baby koala. “My girlfriend is so beautiful. Isn’t she?” Byungchan would say as he places a kiss on your cheek.
Subin
Since Subin is the youngest, he’s used to being the center of attention and it was the same in your relationship. So he knew he didn’t have to be jealous about your outfit choice. He would just laugh at all the other guys that were trying to get your attention since your eyes never left his. After a while he would finally place a deep kiss on your lips and smirk. “Babe, lets go home it’s my turn to take advantage of this amazing outfit.” He would say as his eyes traveled down your frame.

Playing With Fire .7
ROSE
I was woken up by Ramen pulling the pillow out from underneath my head and hitting me with it. I groaned kicking my leg out hitting him in the thigh, he just swore at me and threw the pillow at my head.
"What?" I snapped throwing the pillow back at him, sitting up.
"Get up," he threw it back at me.
"Why?"
"Han's here,"
"You could have sent him in to wake me up, he's not an asshole about it," I frowned.
"I'm sure he'll make you feel better," he rolled his eyes.
"What's your probably this morning?" I huffed.
"Your phone woke me up, and then kept me up with its consistent ringing,"
"I didn't hear it,"
"That's because you sleep through it, you need to change your ringtone," he stated, picking it up from my desk and throwing it towards me. It landed next to my knee, I glared at him for throwing it and went to speak but was cut off by my ring tone.
"It's been three days. Answer it," He pointed at it.
"Okay," I rolled my eyes, letting out a sigh I checked the caller ID and groaned but answered it so Ramen would leave my room.
"Good morning brother," I yawned.
"She knows how to answer,"
"I've been busy,"
"With what?"
"Studying, mostly," I slid the covers off and wandered off towards my wardrobe as Han walked into the room.
"You couldn't take five minutes to answer your phone?"
"It was on silent, what's going on? You guys never call me this much," I pulled a tight-fitting black dress out showing Han who pulled a face and shook his head.
"You've been ignoring our mother's phone calls, and apparently mine," he lectured.
"I was studying, not ignoring you and I wasn't ignoring mum's either, she just calls at the worst possible time, like in the middle of class or while I'm in the library, and really anywhere else I can't take a phone call,"
"You can't call her back?"
"Honestly, I mean to call her back but by the time I've left where ever I was I've forgotten and usually don't remember until it's too late at night to call her back,"
"Well call her today okay?" he sighed.
"Why? What's going on?" I frowned pausing, Han frowned at me and got up.
"Nothing, you just weren't answering her calls, she was worried,"
"I'm fine, I've just got a lot going on right now," I stated, Han still frowning at me, I waved him away. He rolled his eyes at me and nudged me towards the bed.
"I'm on the phone," I raised an eyebrow at him.
"Sit, I'll find you something to wear. Pervert," he stated with a smirk.
"Says you," I retorted,
"You're half naked, what do you expect me to do?" he turned back towards my wardrobe.
"Rose?" Kangsik called.
"Sorry, Han's here," I went to sit on the edge of my bed but landed on the floor instead, Han turned to look at me, giving me that 'seriously?' look. I sighed and leaned against the bed instead.
"What was that?" Kangsik asked.
KANGSIK
"I fell," she sighed.
"Are you okay?"
"Yeah, I'm fine,"
She wasn't the most coordinated person, she was actually quite clumsy, I honestly didn't understand how she functioned as a person most of the time.
"So was there any other reason for your billion calls or did you call just to tell me to call mum?"
"What do you want for your birthday?"
"I don't know, why?"
"Our mother want's to know, she doesn't know what to get you,"
"That's probably because she doesn't actually know me that well," she stated.
"Rose,"
"What? I'm not bitter about it, it's just a fact," she didn't sound bitter about, her tone sounded the same as it would if she were telling me what she had for breakfast.
"Just don't say that to her,"
"Why would I?"
"So what do you want?" I sighed.
"A surprise,"
"That doesn't help,"
"Ask Lisa then,"
"Why can't you just list off a few things?"
"Because I honestly have no idea what I want, besides, it wouldn't be a surprise if I told you,"
"Why do you have to make things difficult?"
"I only have a few chances to be a difficult little sister, I need to use them wisely,"
"You're making things hard," I sighed again.
"I can see that," she murmured.
"What?"
"If that's all you wanted I'm going to get laid, and have breakfast before I go stand in front of a room full of people so they can draw me naked,"
"Please tell me you're joking,"
"I'll call mum later, bye," she hung up.
She liked to say things to mess with my head, so honestly, I couldn't tell whether she was just messing with me or she was completely serious. I was hoping she was kidding but I'm pretty sure she was completely serious.
"Are you ready?" Woo poked his head in my door.
"Yeah, let's go," I got up sliding my phone into my back poked.
I followed Woo down the stairs to the front door where Sundae and Lisa were waiting for us, Lisa looked less than thrilled, I'm not sure whether it was because she had to wait or because we left it to the last minute.
SUNDAE
We all got in the car, Lisa dragged her heels slightly, she'd been pretty quiet all morning which was really that unusual for her when we had an event to go to involving her mother. If she could I'm sure she would avoid it completely.
"Should we get some food first?" I suggested.
"Don't out think you've procrastinated enough?" Kangsik commented as he started the car.
"You're one to talk, you've been putting it off too," Woo pointed out.
"Because I was studying, not because I was screwing around,"
"You say that as if we haven't been studying," I frowned.
We'd started back at school on Monday and things had gotten a little busy at home with everyone, except Kangsik, readjusting to the school schedule. We'd completely forgotten about the unveiling tonight, well not so much forgotten about it, but we'd forgotten to go get out suits fitted. It'd been a while since the last event that involved a full suit, normally it was just semi-formal, so we had to get our suits tailored properly before tonight.
"I could go for some food," Lisa stated leaning back in her seat looking out the window.
She really wasn't looking forward to tonight, not that I blame her, her mother has a tendency to nitpick at everything Lisa does, whether that be the way she's done her hair or the face she was making. But that was only when no one else could hear her because in front of people she praised her daughter even though they were minimal praises I think that upset Lisa more than the blunt insults. In all, it was going to be a very draining night for Lisa.
"Fine, we'll get lunch then we're going straight to the tailor," Kangsik sighed no bothering to argue any further.
The car was silent for the first few minutes until Woo and Kangsik started discussing school this week, Woo was surprisingly good at school, but I suppose that had something to do with his interest in what he was studying.
It didn't take long to get to the shopping center, maybe half an hour max. Lisa didn't seem to notice the car stop or us get out, she just continued to blankly stare out the window. To everyone else, she would look bored and uninterested, but I knew her better than that, she was nervous and dreading tonight.
I sighed opening her door, she looked up at me surprised, looking around.
"We're here already?" she frowned.
"Yeah, come on," I smiled down at her offering her my hand which she took after un-clipping her seat belt.
WOO
"Have you called Ah RI?" Kangsik asked as we sat down at a booth in the small cafe.
"Not yet," I shrugged.
"Shouldn't you have done that already?" Sundae raised an eyebrow at me.
"Why? As long as he gives her enough time to get ready, it doesn't matter when he calls her," Lisa shrugged.
"I'll call her after we've ordered," I picked up the menu looking through the list of drinks.
"What if she has plans already?" Kangsik asked.
"She'll change them," I shrugged.
Song Ah Ri was basically a bro, except we sleep together from time to time. She's a presentable woman, but neither of us is looking for a relationship so she accompanies me to events like tonight and I go as he dates to things to keep her family from setting her up on blind dates with doctors and lawyers she finds ugly and boring.
"Do you know what you want?" Kangsik sighed at me.
"Caramel Macchiato," I nodded.
"I'll order for you, call Ah Ri,"
"Yes mum," I retorted.
I scrolled through my contacts as I stepped out of the booth so Kangsik could get out. The phone rang and rang, I didn't think she was going to pick up and then I heard her voice.
"Hey," she yawned.
"Did I wake you up?"
"Yeah, I was taking a nap, what's up?"
"Are busy tonight?"
"Where and what time do you need me?"
"That was easy,"
"Yeah well I've got nothing else and I need a favor next weekend, so where and what time?"
"I'll pick you up at 5:30,"
"Don't be stupid, I'll be at yours around 5, what exactly are we going to tonight?"
"Exhibition unveiling at the museum,"
"Oh, fun. I'm assuming formal,"
"You'd assume right,"
"Okay, I'll see you at 5,"
LISA
I was sitting in the waiting area with Kangsik and Woo as Sundae got changed into his suit. Once he was done he walked out and stood on the elevated platform in front of the tailor so he could start pinning the suit for any alterations it may need. Honestly it looked perfectly fine to me, it fit him nicely in all the right places, his shirt was tight enough to show off his definition but not to tight to have the buttons look like they're going to pop at any minute, and the dress pants, may have been a little long, but they showed off his butt nicely, and let me tell you he has a seriously nice butt.
"Stop staring," he smirked at me in the mirror.
"Why?" I raised an eyebrow.
"Because it's pervy and we're in public," Kangsik reprimanded.
"What is your point?"
"We have things to do today, and it would be nice to not be kicked out of here because of you two,"
"You say that as if we've ever been caught," I rolled my eyes.
"Besides, you may have things to do. We, however, do not," I added.
"I told my parents I'd go help set up," Sundae interrupted.
"I retract my last statement, we have things to attend too,"
"You don't have to come, Lalice," Sundae gave me a small smile.
"I haven't seen your parents in a while, and it's not like mine are going to be there," I stated.
"It'll be boring, we're just setting up the tables," he warned.
"Like I have anything better to do today," I shrugged.
"Okay, We'll head off after we're finished here,"
"You're going to have to wait for us, we only have one car," Kangsik stated.
"We'll get a cab," he smiled.
"It won't take us long here," Kangsik frowned.
"If Lisa gets too bored trouble will find her," Woo smiled.
"Do you want me to hit you?" I raised an eyebrow.
"See," he gave a smug smirk.
"The quicker we get it all set up the quicker my mother will relax, besides they'll give us a ride home. It's no big deal and the Museum is closer than the dorm anyway," Sundae explained.
SUNDAE
We were in the main function room of the Museum helping place and dress the tables, Lisa was laughing and joking around with one of the staff members, as they placed the name cards down on the tables that were already dressed and set.
We were almost done by the time my parents dropped by, Lisa lit up when she seen them and practically ran over to greet them, my mother smiled warmly as Lisa hugged her. She said hello to my dad who ruffled her hair slightly, he was a caring person, he just wasn't really a person who showed affection through physical contact, at least not if it were closer than an arm's length away.
"What are you doing here?" my mother asked pulling away from the hug.
"I came to help Sundae,"
"Where is that son of ours," dad looked around the room.
"Hey kiddo," he waved me over. I placed the last chair around the table and made my way over to them.
"Thank you for helping," mum smiled sweetly.
"It's no problem, we have nothing else to do until the unveiling tonight," I shrugged.
"We just stopped by to make sure everything was coming along,"
"I told you I would take care of it, you didn't have to come all the way out,"
"You're such a good son, how did we get so lucky?" my mother cooed.
"He has our genetics," my father smirked.
"I think he has more of yours than mine," she smiled at my father lovingly.
"He would have been in a lot more trouble if he had more of my genes," he winked.
"Yes, well we'll leave you to get back to it and see you tonight," she held her arms out and pulled me into a hug.
"Goodbye dear," she let go of me to hug Lisa.
"Oh, and you two have to come by for dinner sometime this week," she insisted.
"Let's talk about that tonight, the kids are busy and they still have to go and get ready," dad ushered her from the room after saying his goodbyes.
WOO
"Hey stupid," Ah Ri waltzed into my bedroom as I was buttoning up my dress shirt, she was stunning, as usual.
"Hey," I nodded picking up my tie draping it over my neck to tie it.
"Let me do it," she sighed walking up to me before I had the chance to object she took the tie from my hands and without much effort at all it was tied and in place.
"You always make it look like a train wreck," she stated.
"Do not," I frowned.
"Yes, you do,"
"You look nice," I let out a sigh changing the subject.
"Obviously," she poked her tongue out at me.
"Shall we go then,"
LISA
We got out of the car and made our way up the path to the Museum, a few guests had started arriving. Staff were standing inside the door to instruct the guest to wait in the large foyer until the unveiling. Both mine and Sundae's parents were standing almost in the center of the room greeting the handful of guests and mingling until it was time for them to prepare for the grand opening of the new exhibit.
My mother gave me a disapproving face the minute she spotted me, I knew she would have glared or shouted at me had she not been standing next to Sundae's parents, who she was so desperate to uphold her image in front of. If they only knew what she was actually like. Honestly, I didn't even know what her problem was this time, I was wearing the outfit she had given me and my hair was done to the specifications she's sent me, I was even wearing the stupid shoes she'd bought me. I wasn't late, if anything we were early and I hadn't made a scene, who knows, maybe I chose the wrong lip color.
Woo and Kangsik greeted both sets of parents, so did Ah Ri.
"How's your dad?" My father asked Woo.
"He's good, I know he's looking forward to poker knight," Woo smiled politely.
Our fathers were best friends, apparently mine used to be a lot cooler before my mother got her talons into him and drained all the fun out of him. they had poker night once or twice a month, well they called it poker night, apparently my mother was more okay with them playing poker than what they were actually doing, which was lounging around eating junk food, drinking beer and playing video games. Dad was so much fun when it was just him and Woo's dad, they were like two teenagers in middle-aged men's bodies.
"So am I, I'll definitely win this time," he gave Woo and knowing smile.
"You can debate that with him when he arrives," the two broke off into their own conversation, Kangsik was discussing something businessy with Sundae's parents, mainly his father, his mother was admiring Ah Ri's dress. With everyone more or less distracted it gave my mother the opportunity to criticize me for whatever I'm sure she thinks I've done wrong.
"You're late," she whispered as she embraced me in one of her staged motherly hugs, I had to physically stop myself from recoiling.
"We're 15 minutes early," I frowned not bothering to keep my voice down.
"It would have been nice if you could have been here before people arrived, that's all," she tried to keep her voice sweet, it was entertaining to watch her have to hold in her snide comments and criticism.
"I'm sorry, I didn't know you wanted me here early," I answered sweetly, which I could see only annoyed her more.
"I thought I'd mentioned it to you," she was trying extremely hard to keep her compositor.
"I'll remember for next time,"
"It's fine, there aren't many people here and you two did come and help set up," Sundaes mother assured us.
"Don't wander too far, I want you close when we unveil the exhibition," she gave me a tight smile.
"Of course," I nodded.
"Go mingle," Sundae's mother ushered us off.
"Oh, where's Gummy?" I turned back to face her, she gave me an annoyed expression for calling him Gummy. She hates that I gave him a nickname because now he won't respond to his actual name.
"He had a lesson, he'll be here shortly,"
"Isn't 6 p.m. a bit late for a lesson?"I frowned.
"Your brother will be here after his lesson,"
"She's going to lecture me later," I mumbled as Sundae and I went to join Woo, Kangsik and Ah Ri who'd been waiting of to the side by this point.
"Lisa, Lisa, Bo-bisa, bo-na-na fanna Fo-fisa, fee fi mo-mesa, Lisa," Woo's dad sang coming up behind us draping an arm over both mine and Woo's shoulders.
"Woo, Woo, Bo-boo, bo-na-na fanna, Fo-foo, fee fi mo-moo, Woo," he continued to sing.
"Dad, stop you'll get in trouble," Woo smirked.
"Oh, right. Serious event," he cleared his through standing ups straight and adjusting his tie, before winking at me.
"I think your hat might take away from your serious," I spun his propeller.
"What are you talking about? This a very distinguished look, my son said so," he stated seriously.
"I think my mother might say otherwise,"
"Your mother never cared much for my style, she's a fun-drainer. I'll just hang out with you kids and avoid her, I think I fit better here anyway,"
"That you do sir," Kangsik agreed.
"We'll just swap Kangsik for you," I shrugged.
"I wouldn't mind an intelligent conversation," Kangsik rolled his eyes wondering off towards his parents who'd just arrived.
"So how are we all?" he asked relaxing once more.
"You know, the usual," Woo shrugged.
"How is school? Oh, wow, that was a very parental thing to ask huh?" he frowned at himself.
"I think you can get away with it, being a father an all," Ah Ri gave him a sweet smile.
"Ah Ri, I didn't even see you there. How have you been?" his eyes lit up, I think he kind of secretly hoped Woo and Ah Ri would actually form a real relationship.
"Not too bad, a little busy but that's expected. How are you? Anything overly interesting in the science world recently?" with that Woo, his dad, and Ah Ri broke off into their own little conversation, and Sundae and I wandered off.
"Can we leave now?" I sighed looking over to my mother who was keeping a close eye on me, she glared at me as we walked towards the doors that led out into a botanical garden.
"Only if you never want to hear the end of it," he stated.
"I'm okay with that,"
"Lalice, it's only a few hours, you just have to stand there looking supportive, sit through dinner where you're not ever seated at a table with your mother, and then we can leave,"
"You make it sound like nothing," I mumbled, he let out a sigh and stopped walking, wrapped his arms around me pulling me into his chest, he rested his chin on top of my head.
"It will be, as long as you behave the worse you'll have to do is meet a few people and tolerate your mother's side glances and comments with underlining criticism. Which isn't that different from normal, besides I'll be right next to you the whole time,"
SUNDAE
she was quiet for a moment before letting out a sigh. I could feel how stressed she was just from the tension in her posture, I could guarantee that if she weren't wearing the heels her mother had insisted on she would be running laps around the garden, honestly, that's probably the exact reason her mother insists on it.
She pulled away from my hug, there was a spark in her eye that made me nervous, that spark always lead to Lisa doing something we both knew was a bad idea, and 9 times out of 10 her mother would catch her doing the said thing which never ended well. I understood Lisa's need for stress relief but these things always ended up adding to her stress levels rather than easing them.
She wondered over to a nearby tree and looked up at it, she could easily climb it, if she weren't in a dress and heels. She was bound to hurt herself if she ever tried, which by the look on her face, she was about to do.
"Lalice," I said carefully.
"You can't climb that tree in those shoes,"
"Right," she sighed nodding.
She then bent down and undid the straps and slid her feet out of them. I rolled my eyes towards the sky and let out a sigh.
"Lisa, I really don't think you should try to climb that tree in that dress, what if you fall?" She paused.
"I don't think I'll fall,"
"I would really rather you didn't try,"
"Hey, I'll be fine. Just breath," she stated seriously before pulling herself up the trunk and onto the first branch, a wave of relief washed through me briefly but soon faded when she continued up the tree.
I let out a sigh pinching the bridge of my nose, I could feel my heart beat speed up in my chest, which only sped up more when I opened my eyes to see Lisa's mother walking towards me. my chest tightened as she got closer.
"Hello, where's Lisa?" she frowned. I had to physically stop myself from looking up at Lisa who I'm sure was extremely high by now, contemplating throwing something down at her mother.
"She went to the bathroom," I answered after taking a deep breath.
"Oh, well once she comes back could you please bring her back inside? We're gathering everyone for the unveiling," she smiled sweetly.
"Of course," I nodded.
"Thank you," she turned and went back the way she'd come, I watched her walk back through the doors and waited almost a minute before looking up at Lisa who seemed to be slowly making her way back down the branches.
"That was close," she smirked almost slipping.
"Be careful," I sucked in a breath
"I'm always careful, relax" she stated.
She was on one of the last branches when her dress got caught, she turned to unhook it and lost her footing falling from the tree.

Playing With Fire .6
LISA
We'd decided to stay the whole week instead of just the weekend, but week was over too fast. Kangsik stayed inside unless one of us, and by one of us I mean me, dragged him out to have some fun, and that happened more often than not, so it was expected that he was asleep in the passenger seat right now. Woo didn't come back most night, instead he would be wondering back in as I was heading out for my morning run, he would sleep until lunch and then by that time we were ready to go explore so he would get dressed and tag along until he found his next conquest, but that was Woo. Sundae and I spent most of the week wondering around, whether it was at the beach or the night market, just doing couple things, well after Kangsik decided to go home, which wasn't long after Woo would leave us to go play with which ever girl decided to be part of the not so exclusive club I like to refer to as The Woo Girls.
In all, the week flew by but it was a good week and after the first day, almost completely drama free. There was a mishap with a police officer but Woo managed to fix that with a few words, honestly we were just lucky he was a rookie and not an experiences officer. The only other down side to the week was my lip got slightly infected, which is a whole lot of fun.
We were on our way home now, well we were almost home, maybe 15 minutes or so away, everyone was asleep except Me and Woo, I'd probably be asleep too except every time I doze off my mother calls, so I figured I may as well just stay awake and converse with Woo.
My phone started buzzing in my hand again, I sighed and went to decline, again, until I read LesbiChesty.
"Hey," I answered.
"Hey hoe, what's up?"
"We're on our way home,"
"Oh good, so you're not doing anything important?"
"Keeping Woo awake so we don't die," I shrugged.
"Like he even knows what sleep is," she mumbled.
"How is that boyfriend of yours?" I smirked.
"That's why I called,"
"Did you break up?" I frowned.
"Don't I sound too happy to be going through a break up?"
"Not if he's not your boyfriend,"
"Not everyone has a relationship like yours, you know?" I could basically see her roll her eyes at me.
"Jealous?"
"Not particularly, if I had a growth that big I'd been seeking medical help," she retorted.
"Someone is extra bitchy today,"
"I'm this bitchy everyday, "
"So the reason you called?"
"Can't I call you without a reason?"
"You're the one who said you had a reason," I frowned.
"Oh, right. I don't know what's wrong with me today," she sighed.
"When was the last time you got laid?"
"Ah, Tuesday?" she said, but it was phrased as a question.
"You have to think about it? What type of boy toy is he?"
"He's been busy with classes and I was kind of out of service this week,"
"Well that's why you're bitchy,"
"I'm fine now," she sighed.
"Then go get laid,"
"I knew I should have just text you," she sighed.
"Why didn't you?"
"I was bored, I though you might be entertaining, I should known better,"
"Awe, I'm hurt,"
"You've been in the car too long," she huffed at me.
"Are you going to tell my the reason you called or are you going to keep whining like a preteen?"
"How dare you,"
"Well if you weren't acting like one I wouldn't have said anything,"
"So, the model for Han's life drawing class quit last minute and he asked if I'd be the replacement," she trailed off.
"And?"
"And I need you opinion on my outfit,"
"Okay, so send me a photo?" I stated as Woo pulled the car into the driveway.
"I'll text it too you,"
"Why didn't you just do that in the first place?"
"I was bored and you're fun to bicker with,"
"Right back at you, when are you suppose to be doing this?"
"Tomorrow,"
"Well you better get off the phone so you can send me a photo,"
"Right, I'll text you in a minute,"
I hung the phone up and gently shook Sundae who was still asleep, his head resting on my shoulder. He stirred, taking a deep breath in he peered at me through his dark eyelashes, his exhale turned into a yawn as he sat up and stretched.
"Are we home?" he frowned looking out the window.
"We are,"
"Can you take this inside? I'll help the boys with the rest of it," he handed me his backpack which usually contained nothing but snacks and his drawing supplies.
"Sure," I nodded as he opened his door getting out, he turned around and offered me his hand which I took allowing him to assist me in getting out of the car.
"Keys," I called to Woo who threw the keys in my direction.
I caught them with ease as I swung the bag carefully over my shoulder before making my aay up to the front door. I unlocked the wooden door, pushing it open and sliding the door stop in front of it so the boys could just walk right in. I dropped the keys on the kitchen bench before making my way up the stairs to mine and Sundaes room where I put his backpack on our bed as my phone buzzed in my pocket.
(1) New Message(s) From LesbiChesty flashed across my screen.
I opened the message and clicked on the photos, I was expecting a tight fitting low cut shirt with high waisted shorts or a short skirt, maybe even a fitted dress. But instead I got photos of Rose wearing nothing but underwear, three photos of her in just different colored underwear; red, green, and black. A text came through after the photos;
Rose: Did I mention it was a nude life model? I negotiated with them to wear underwear. Which color? I was thinking maybe the red, do you think that gives off the wrong impression?
Lisa: You're standing there in your underwear, I'm not sure your underwear is going to influence their opinion.
Rose: Maybe, but what color should I wear?
I made my way out of the room as Woo was coming up the stairs. Carrying his bags down to his room. I thought it over for a second then decided it wouldn't be a bad idea.
"Hey, can I get your opinion on something?"
"Sure,"
"A friend of mine can't decide what color to wear, what do you think a guy would like more?" I asked opening the photos.
"I don't think he's going to be paying much attention to the color of the underwear with a rack like that, he's going to be too busy trying to get into those rather than worrying about the color,"
"You think she has a nice rack?" I smirked.
"Definitely, what's her face look like?"
"Just pick a color," I rolled my eyes.
"Personally, I like the red," he stated tapping away at the screen.
"Thanks," I took my phone from him as his phone buzzed in his pocket.
"Thank you," he smirked.
"Do you not get enough girls?"
"Boobs like that need to be appreciated," he shrugged walking off.
Rose: Hello?
Lisa: Woo liked the red ones ;)
Rose: You showed Woo? What'd he say?
Lisa: That he like the red ones and you have a nice rack. He sent himself the photo and stated your boobs should be appreciated.
Rose: Woo had a naked photo of me?
Lisa: Yeah, do you want me to delete it from his phone?
"Lalice?" Sundae called from the bottom of the stairs.
"Coming,"
Rose: No, it's fine, let him enjoy them
Lisa: Wont you're 'boyfriend' have a problem with another guy having naked pictures of you?
I made my way down the stairs to Sundae who had an apprehensive expression. I frowned at him.
"What's wrong?"
"Your parents are here," he said carefully.
"What?" I swear my heart stopped beating.
"They just pulled in the driveway," he looked at me with a worried expression.
"What else is wrong?"
"Your lip still hasn't gone away," he frowned sucking on his own lip.
"Crap," I sighed.
"Do you want me to tell them you're in the shower?"
"They'll just stay and she'll get more irritated having to wait around," I shook my head.
He offered me his hand for support which I gladly took, he directed me out the door and down the driveway to where my parents were standing speaking brightly with Kangsik.
"LaLa!" Gummy let go of our mother hand and sprinted up to me, wrapping his arms around my legs. He was a little short for his age, but he was confident he would have a growth spurt soon, probably because Sundae said so.
"Hey you," I ruffled his hair.
"We have somewhere important to be after this, could you re-frame from messing up your brothers hair please?" her tone was bright as if it were a friendly request, but her face told a different story.
"Come on, why don't we go see what Woo's up too?" Kangsik offered, he thought about it for a minute before letting go of my leg and following Kangsik inside.
"What brings you here Mother?" I asked as formally as I could as my phone buzzed in my hand.
"You weren't answering your phone, I can see it works perfectly fine," she gave me a disproving look.
"I had it on charge in the bedroom, I didn't hear it ring," I lied.
"What happened to your lip?" my father frowned, Sundae looked down as if it were his fault.
"I was messing around and fell," I shrugged.
"Of course you did," she rolled her eyes.
"Would you like to come in?" I ignored her comment.
"No, we have important places to be, we already came out of our way to be here," she stated in the same tone she use when she was annoyed at me, which was pretty much every time she spoke to me, or looked at me, honestly I think my existence in general irritated her.
"Can I at least offer you something to drink?" I bit back a sarcastic comment.
"Do I just speak to hear my own voice?" she raised an eyebrow.
"Well if you're not here for a visit mother, why did you drive so far out of your way? Clearly your time is too precious to waste on your only daughter, so what may I help you with?"
"Lalice," Sundae mumbled next to me, loud enough so only I heard him.
"Don't start with your attitude, I'm not in the mood for your dramatics today," she sighed rolling her eyes at me.
SUNDAE
"What brings you out here mother?" she backed down.
She'd never admit it but Lisa was somewhat scared over her mother, and for good reason. She had a nasty habit of treating Lisa horribly when no one else was around, but once people where within hearing distance, she was sweet and caring, or at least that's the way she sounded, it was still clear when she was annoyed at Lisa.
Lisa learnt the hard was not to push her mother too far, her mother isn't above slapping Lisa, of course she would never do that in front of anyone, not even me. Lisa doesn't even know that I know, I walked into the room as it happened, it took all of my will not to continue into the room, I left and waited for Lisa to say something to me about it, but she didn't. I'm not sure either one of them knows just how much it effects Lisa, she still tried to please her mother but nothing seems to be good enough.
LISA
"The new exhibition will be opening in a few days, and there will be an unveiling party, I would like you to attend,"
"Of course Mother,"
"Your dress is in the car, do not ruin it," her expression was as hard as stone and the tone of her voice was even harder.
"I will be presentable," I nodded.
"And on your best behavior, I will not tolerate any of the usual antics you seem to enjoy putting me through at these events,"
"I wouldn't even dream of it," I bit the inside of my cheek.
"Get your dress then go get your brother, we have other places to be," she stated. I didn't bother responding, I just made my way to the back door where a black dress bag hung from the back of the passengers seat.
"Don't forget the shoes," she barely even glanced over her shoulder.
"Because I need more pares of shoes I'll never wear again," I muttered under my breath, apparently not as quietly as I'd though. She looked back at me with an exasperated expression.
I sighed picking up the shoe box after I'd swung the dress bag over my shoulder and made my way inside. Sundae stayed out to keep my parents company I suppose, they did love him, definitely more than they did me, honestly I'm sure my mother has told him he could do better than me.
I made my way upstairs, dumping the dress and shoe box on the end of mine and Sundae's bed before going downstairs to get Gummy who was in the living room climbing Woo like a tree. He beamed when he saw me and abandon Woo like he wasn't there.
"La La,"
"Come on, it's time to go," I held my hand out for him.
He picked his blanket up of the floor and took my hand but didn't take a step, he just stood there staring at me with an adorable pout.
"What's the matter?"
"Can't I stay here and play?"
"Not today, but'll I'll come visit you soon,"
"Promise?"
"Mmhm," I nodded.
"Will you bring Sundae too?"
"Of course,"
"I guess we can go then," he sighed leading the way out the front door.
We walked down the driveway to the car where our Mother was waiting impatiently giving me a disapproving look. I bit my tongue, Gummy let go of my hand to run over to Sundae and hug his legs.
"Bye little man," Sundae smiled down and Gummy fixing the little boys hair.
"Come on, in the car," she spoke to him sweetly.
"Can I please have a sleep over tonight?" Gummy pouted at her.
"No honey, we have some stuff to,"
"Maybe next time, let's get you in the car," Sundae lifted Gummy off the ground and carried him to the back seat where he helped strap him in safely.
"Did you put him up to that?" she gave me a cold look.
"No, he asked me if he could play for a little while and I told him no,"
"Sure you did," she rolled her eyes at me.
"What day is the unveiling Mother?" I let out a sigh.
"Sundae already has all the information," she stated getting in the passengers seat.
"Because his parents tell him things," I murmured earning a glare.
"Drive safely," I smiled over at me father who returned the smile with a nod.
"Good advice, I'm sure your father would have driven like a lunatic had you not said that,"
"Sarcasm is unbecoming Mother," she just gave me a irritated look.
"We'll see you at the unveiling Sundae," she smiled brightly at him before rolling her window up.
"Make sure you're not late okay?" my father pulled me into a side hug kissing my temple.
Sundae came to stand by my side as my parents pulled out of the driveway. He wrapped an arm around my waisted.
"Do you think he could crash the car and only have her suffer injuries?" I asked as the car drove away.
"You don't mean that," he kissed the top of my head.
"Besides, Gummy is sat behind her so he would be at risk,"
"Maybe I can drop something in her drink at the unveiling," I thought out loud.
SUNDAE
I sighed down at her, I didn't understand why her mother was so cruel to her and nice to everyone else, literally everyone else, including total strangers. But her own daughter she treats like, well I'm not sure their is a word for it. It made no sense, Lisa was smart and caring, and amazingly talented at dancing, why they forced her to do Business as her major is beyond me, although her mother has never seen her dance, not that it would make a difference.
"I think all the joking about covering up a murder has gotten to your head, let's go inside," hand still around her waist I turned her around and directed her inside.
"It wasn't a joke, between the five of us, we could definitely cover it up," she stated seriously.
"You're just mad, you couldn't kill your mother,"
"Stupid," she mumbled.
"Come on, let's get your mind off your mother," I smirked at her taking her hand and pulling her up the stairs.
"I like the way you think,"
WOO
Lisa followed Sundae up the stairs and they retreated to their room closing the door behind them. Kangsik had already began study hibernation in his room, he claimed he was behind because he was consistently pulled away from his studies. Truth be known, he was at least three months ahead of everyone else in his classes with his reading material.
I picked up the last of my bags, I'd done a bit of shopping in Busan, mainly clothes. I dropped one bag next to the washing machine, then took the other upstairs to my room. I pulled out a clean set of clothes and made my way to the shower.
I felt very drained and usually a shower refreshes me. I'd gotten home before everyone else woke up this morning and hadn't bothered sleeping, then I drove the whole way home. Not that that bothered me, I'd offered, I was just feeling a bit exhausted right now.
I sent my dad a quick text asking if he was free for lunch before jumping in the shower.
KANGSIK
I was relieved that everyone else was off doing their own thing and I finally got to just be on my own to get some studying done. I unpacked my bags then made myself comfortable at my desk turning to the page I was up too.
I let out a long sigh when my phone started buzzing next to my text book. I would have ignored it if it wasn't my mother.
"Hello Mother,"
"Hello, how is my son?"
"Good, how are you?"
"I'm okay, have you talked to your sister lately? She hasn't answered my calls the past few days," she asked concerned.
"I talked to her a few days ago, she might be busy studying, she's only got a few months left of her school year,"
"I suppose,"she hummed.
"I'll try and call her if you like,"
"No that's alright, do you have any idea what I should get her for her birthday,"
"Honestly, it's been so long since I've seen her I have no idea. It's probably be better to ask Lisa what she want's,"
"Hmm, alright. If you talk to your sister can you ask her to give me a call or to answer her phone,"
"Of course,"
"Thank you,"
I hung the phone up and put it back next to my text book, I started reading through the paragraph I was up too and ended up reading the same sentence about five times. I don't think I'd actually talked to Rose since she went out with her boyfriend to see their friends band play, and I couldn't remember if Lisa had talked to her since. Letting out a sigh I picked my phone back up and dialed Rose's number.
ROSE
I was laying across the bottom of my bed with my head hanging over the edge reading a book, I'd gotten to the good part when my phone started buzzing on my desk, it wasn't Lisa's ring tone so I ignored it and went back to reading.
"Your face has gone red," Ramen stated as he walked in.
"I'm comfortable,"
"You're going to get a headache," he pushed my shoulders back so my head was on the bed properly.
"You're a headache," I sighed as my phone began to ring again.
"Your phone's giving me a headache,"
"Then remove yourself from my bedroom," I shrugged sitting up and crossing my legs.
"Why don't you just answer it?"
"I'm studying," I waved my book around a little.
"Have you still not told them?" he frowned at me.
"Can I help you with something?" I bookmarked my spot before closing the book.
"I'm bored, let's go out,"
"It's hot,"
"I got that from the way you're not dressed," I nodded down at my matching bra and panty set.
"We'll got to the beach," he added.
"That means I have to get dressed,"
"You're going to have to do that anyway, the other guys are going to be home soon,"
"Why?" I groaned dragging myself off the bed.
"Because they live here,"
"Fine, give me five," I sighed.
"And no Han, watching you two attempt to relationship is disgusting," he pulled his bitch-face.
WOO
I pulled the car into the car park near the small restaurant. My dad was waiting at the front door for me, a bright smile spread across his face and he pulled me into a tight hug when I reached him.
"How have you been, I feel like I haven't seen you in months,"
"You seen me like a week and a half ago," I smiled shaking my head.
"Oh, you're right," he nodded.
"Let's go in," I draped an arm over his shoulder directing him inside.
"How's work?" I asked once we were seated.
"Oh you know, sciencey," he shrugged.
"I think science tends to be a little like that," I nodded handing him a menu.
"Who would have thought, what have you been up to since we last seen each other?"
"We went down to Busan for the week,"
"A little R&R before school goes back?"
"That was the plan," I nodded as the waitress came over to take our order.
"How was it?" he asked after ordering.
"Great, for the most part. The day we drove down there we had a few problems and there was one incident with an officer but nothing serious,"
"An officer?" he raised an eyebrow.
"We got into a bit of an argument at a restaurant with a small group of guys that were pretty drunk, the owner called the police and by the point they got there we were sort of at a stand off, I'm not entirely sure you swung first but it ended with Lisa accidentally punching the officer in the face,"
"Then what happened next?" he asked genuinely curious.
"I managed to convince him not to report it,"
"How?"
"He was a junior officer, there was no way he'd been on the job for more than a few months, so I just asked him if he really wanted to write a report and document the fact he got a black eye from a girl half the size of him,"
"That's my kid," he held his fist out for me to bump with my own, as the waitress came back with out order.
"Oh I got you something,"
"Really?" he asked as he placed the meat on the grill.
"It's nothing big or anything, I just saw it and though it would suit you, and it's completely respectable so you can wear it around at work," I smirked opening my back pack and pulling the black bag out.
"This is perfect," he laughed pulling the multi colored propeller hat from the bag, he took the plain grey snap back from his head and replace it with his gift.
"It definitely suits you," I smiled, he put the grey snap back in his side bag. He had no problem wearing something like a propeller hat in public and I guarantee he would wear it back to work, which happened to be a highly distinguished research facility.
"What's this?" he asked pulling out a dream catcher.
"Oh, I though it was something mum would like, and I had to buy it,"
"I'm sure she will, I'll hang it in our room for her,"
"You haven't been to see her in a while, you should got see her," he stated.
"I'll go from here to see her," I nodded.

WOO
JinSoo came back to the table alone looking anywhere but at me.
"Where's MinJun?" I frowned.
"He found someone to dance with, he shrugged.
"Who?" YoungJin looked at him skeptically.
"I don't know, some girl," he got defensive.
"You're suppose to be watching him," GunHoo frowned.
"And I did, then he found someone else to keep him out of trouble. I'm not a babysitter," he sighed.
"It's fine, it looks like she's having another dance battle," JaeEun pointed to the circle that had formed in the center of the dance floor.
"Lisa doesn't dance battle when she's with Sundae, the last time that happened she got into a fight with a girl who was all over him. Since then Sundae doesn't let her dance battle while he's there," Kangsik explained not looking up from his phone, he probably has a copy of his notes on there.
"Who was he dancing with JinSoo?" YoungJin looked over at the youngest.
"I already told you,"
"If I find him at the center of that problem, he's not the only one I'll be removing from the club," he warned.
"I told him it was a bad idea," he sighed after a brief pause.
"I thought you said you'd keep him out of trouble?" I frowned.
"You don't know it's him," YoungJin mumbled.
"Who else is it going to be? Move," I sighed. GunHoo got up and moved without question, But YoungJin stood in my way.
"It's fine, I'll deal with it," YoungJin ushered for me to stay seated.
"Move, I won't ask again," he hesitated before slowly sliding out of the booth but he let out a breath and stepped aside.
"Can't Sundae handle it?" JaeEun asked.
"He shouldn't have too, just wait here," I gave her a small smile before sliding out of the booth and in truth Sundae could handle it, for the most part.
"Would it be too much to ask for a quiet night?" Kangsik sighed following after me.
JinSoo stayed behind but YoungJin and GunHoo reluctantly followed . We finally managed to make out way through the tight crowd of people and into the center of the circle where we found Sundae, Lisa and MinJun. I looked over at YoungJin who closed his eyes, frowning. When I turned back Sundae, who was shorter and not as built as MinJun, had him by his collar, glaring he said something to MinJun that no one else could hear. MinJun just smirked and retorted with a comment that seemed to upset Sundae immensely, so much so that Sundae retaliated almost instantly by punching MinJun in the jaw with so much force MinJun ended up on the floor.
The crowd fell silent, the only noise hear was MinJun laughing which only seemed to infuriate Sundae. I knew MinJun, he was baiting him and it was working. I knew were this was going, I'd been apart of schemes like this, he was making sure that if this were to go to the police that he would be seen as defending himself, that way there would be a settlement and he would get easy money.
LISA
Woo was quick to interject, standing between Sundae and MinJun who was still sitting on the floor. I'm not really sure how it happened but Sundae was directing me away from the crowd and back to the booth while Woo, who we could still see clearly, stood there talking to MinJun. It was easy to tell with his facial expression and his aggressive arm movements that he was mad too. His other friends stood on the sidelines not really sure whether they should interfere or not.
Woo finished his lecture or rant, MinJun spoke slowly getting up the floor, he clearly didn't enjoy being talked down too, he glared at Woo, the way he spoke reminded my of a snake about to strike, but Woo didn't even flinch. His jaw clenched as did his fists and two seconds later he punched MinJun, not as hard as Sundae had because he was still standing but enough to have YoungJin and GunHoo step and and act as a barrier between the two.
Kangsik also stepped in, but rather than standing as a barrier he wrapped an arm around Woo's shoulders, turned the both of them around and directed him over to where Sundae and I stood with a confused JaeEun.
"I thinks it's best if we leave now," Kangsik stated, arm still around Woo's shoulders.
"Let's do that," I agreed linking my arm through Sundae's, I would have held his hand but his fist were clenched so tight his knuckles were white.
"Do you want to come?" Woo turned to JaeEun.
He gave her his signature smile which pretty much had any girl swooning over him, he looked more relaxed but he was still mad, if he'd actually relaxed Kangsik would have let him go, but it was clear that he was still tense. JaeEun looked at the boys one by one before looking at me as if she was asking if it would be okay. I nodded in response to the silent question.
"Sure,"
"Then let's get out of here,"Kangsik stated leading Woo towards the door.
WOO
"You can get off me now," I sighed once we were out the door.
"I will when I'm sure you wont go back in there,"
"We have food and alcohol at home, and I have a gorgeous girl to entertain me. You're being a cock block, now get off me," I frowned shaking him off.
Was I still mad? Yes, I was furious, what kind of stunt was that? After the day Lisa and Sundae have had they deserved to just sit back with a drink and relax, they didn't need a group of d-bags coming in and ruining the day all over again. It was bad enough they flirted with her at the table. What made them think it was okay to go and sexually harass her? I don't know the last time Sundae even got annoyed and today he's been at boiling point twice. I should have never suggested a club.
"You okay?"JaeEun appeared next to me.
"Mm,"I nodded.
"Are you sure?"
"Nothing a little food and some good company can't fix," I nodded.
KANGSIK
It didn't take long to walk back to the house, Lisa unlocked the door and was first to make her way upstairs, Sundae followed closely behind her, Woo reared left towards the other door withing the entrance which had JaeEun stop not sure if she should follow him or continue up the stairs. Woo paused outside the french doors, the glass had been covered with curtains so you could no longer see into the room beyond.
"Come on," I ushered JaeEun towards the staircase.
"Shouldn't I follow him?" she frowned.
"Not in there,"
"Why?"
"No one goes in there except Woo,"
"Why not? What's in there? Is that were he keeps his victims?" she joked.
"If so, you'll see inside soon enough," I shrugged, she paused looking at me a little worried.
"He's kidding, his jokes are a little dark when he's been drinking," Sundae stated making his way back down stairs."
"Which is refreshing, he's a total bore when he's sober," Lisa added following behind Sundae.
"Where are you off too?" I frowned ignoring her comment.
"No where, I left my sketch pad in the car,"
"I came to get JaeEun," Lisa shrugged.
"Clingy," I mumbled.
"We've been here all day and Woo hadn't gone near that room so it was about time, and I though I should probably save her from you," she poked her tongue out linking arms with JaeEun and leading her upstairs.
LISA
"Is he okay?" JaeEun frowned back down the stairs.
"Yeah, he's fine. He'll be up soon,"
"What's he doing?"
"Making sure his captives don't starve to death," Kangsik smirked.
"Would you stop? It's not funny," Sundae frowned.
"It's a little funny," I laughed.
Kangsik was, for the most part, a stick in the mud, I mean seriously uptight and boring. I swear there was a pole so far up is butt you could see it if he opened his mouth wide enough. But Kangsik was also a light weight when it came to alcohol, three or four glasses of wine and he was slurring his words, he may have only had two drinks tonight but they were also stronger than what he was use too so he was a bit in between sober and tipsy, leaning more towards the tipsy. He had a habit of loosening up once he'd drunk a little, he was a lot more fun too, and he seemed to have fun so I'm sure if I got a few more drinks into him he'll be less, well, less Kangsik. His dark humor wasn't for everyone but I though he was funny, and it was nice to see him enjoy himself for a change.
"I'm just saying, we don't know what he has in there, we haven't been allowed in there for years," Kangsik shrugged turning into the kitchen.
"You're scaring the girl," Sundae reprimanded, he was still mad about the club?
"He is joking," I assured her.
"Why don't we take this up to the terrace? We still have a lot of food we didn't eat before we left and there soju and beer in here too," Kangsik suggested.
"I'm done drinking, but I could eat," Sundae agreed, Sundae's also a light weight when it comes to alcohol, more so than Kangsik. But he cuts himself off before he get's drunk, it's a little because he doesn't like the drunk feeling, but mostly because he's looking after me.
"Well, we can't let a group of d-bags ruin a perfectly good night," I nodded, looking to JaeEun who just shrugged.
WOO
I closed the doors behind me making sure to lock them before making my way up the stairs to the third floor where I expected everyone to be, but both the kitchen and living area were deserted. I looked up to see them though the window sitting at the table on the terrace, Sundae seemed to be smiling again, Lisa sitting on his lap leaning her back into his chest laughing at whatever Kangsik had said, I guess she'd got him drinking, seeing as he's loosened up a bit. JaeEun sat looking less awkward than she had when we fist got her, she seemed to be enjoying whatever they were talking about.
I made my way to the fridge to get myself a beer before heading up stairs to the terrace, I was greeted by loud cheers.
"Having fun?" I asked sitting down next to JaeEun.
"Of course," Lisa stated.
"Who said I was talking to you," I raised and eyebrow.
"I might be next," she looked at JaeEun cautiously, she let out a laugh.
"I'd save you," Sundae stated.
"What?"I frowned.
"Oh, Kangsik has this theory about you," Lisa shrugged.
"About me?"
"Mmm, JaeEun was wondering what you were doing, as a joke Kangsik said you were making sure you captives weren't starving. But after much thought and a lengthy discussion, we think it could be possible,"
"So her committing a murder and us covering it up isn't plausible, but me keeping people captive in the room downstairs is?" I raised an eyebrow.
"Awe, you'd cover up a murder for me?" she patronized.
"Shut up you, or I'll add you to the collection," I glared playfully taking a sip of beer.
"See, what'd I tell you?" Kangsik smirked.
"You're going to regret that in the morning," I stated nodding at the three open cans of beer in front of him.
"Not if I stop at this one," he shrugged waving the can in his hand side to side.
"If you stop at that one you have to one shot it," Lisa told him.
"Seriously?" JaeEun frowned.
"It's one of Lisa's rules,"Sundae nodded.
"One of?"
"The trick is to not say you're done drinking until after you've finished your last drink," I smirked as Kangsik reluctantly picked up the beer can and downed it in one shot.
"You're going to be so hungover in the morning," I laughed.
"He'll be fine if her eats something," Lisa shrugged.
"Food sounds good," Sundae nodded.
"I'll get it," I shook my head.
"No, you can't. The fridge is organised, you won't know where anything is," Kangsik stated.
"It won't be hard to figure out," I raised an eyebrow.
"Why don't you help him," Lisa suggested,
SUNDAE
Kangsik threw an arm around Woo's shoulders and Woo wrapped his around Kangsik's waist so he wouldn't fall down the stairs. The minute they were out of sight Lisa got off my lap and removed the empty beer cans and replacing it with a new one after opening it and taking a mouthful.
"Lalice," I sighed as she sat back down.
"He'll be fine, he's having fun. If he has a hangover in the morning, I will deal with him," she shrugged.
Ï don't think he'll like that too much," JaeEun frowned.
"Why?"
"I see you opening all the curtains and speaking as loudly as possible," she joked.
"Lisa's not that mean," I stated.
"So how did you two meet?" she decided to change the subject.
"He stole my sundae," Lisa stated.
"No, you offered it to me,"
"I ask if you wanted some, you ate the whole thing," she retorted.
"That's not how I remember it,"I shrugged.
"Because you were busy stuffing your face with my sundae," she glared playfully at me.
"That's also how he got his nickname," she added.
"We all have nicknames," Kangsik stated coming back up the stairs with the assistance of Woo. Both carrying a few containers filled with the food we didn't eat earlier.
"Lisa's quite fond of nicknames," Woo agreed.
"What's your actual name then?" JaeEun raised an eyebrow at Woo when he sat down.
"SeungWoo, after Kangsik started hanging out with us more she'd mix up our names because they're so similar,"
"No, I was getting irritated with Kangsik consistently pointing it out," Lisa corrected.
"Anyway, from that point I was Woo and he was Kangsik, it kind of caught on and now we barely respond to our actual names,"
"So what's your actual name?" she turned to Kangsik.
"SeungSik," he answered opening a container.
"What about you Sundae?"
"Sejun,"
"Okay, enough about nicknames, we have food to eat and Kangsik has a beer to finish," Lisa announced.
"I do not," he frowned at her.
"Yes you do, there was basically a full can when I cleared the empty ones away," she stated innocently, Woo smirked and shook his head taking a sip of his own beer.
"Seriously?" Kangsik sighed.
"Seriously," she nodded.
"Do I have to one shot this too?" he frowned down at the can that was now in his hand.
"How about we play a game to decide," I could see her smirk in the reflection of the window.
"What happens if I win?"
"I'll drink it for you,"
"And if you win?"he gave her a skeptical look.
"Then you can drink it slowly, but then you have to join in with the drinking games,"
"Really?" he frowned.
"You can just one shot it, your choice," she shrugged.
"She'll manage to keep you drinking, you may as well play, just don't loose," Woo stated.
"What are we playing?" Kangsik sighed in defeat.
LISA
I slid my shoes on and made my way out the door closing it behind me, I stuck the earbuds in my ears and set my iPod to shuffle before starting my morning run. It was about 6:30 and still dark out, the sun wasn't due to rise for another hour but there were already a lot of people scattered through the streets, probably heading off to work or heading home after a long night out, possibly a walk of shame.
I started towards the beach, Woo only lived about ten minutes from the beach, by car. it was about a thirty minute walk, I was curious how long it would take me to run there, also running on the beach was great cardio.
I kept a good pace, not exactly jogging but I wasn't sprinting either, it took me about 19 minutes to run there which wasn't exactly bad but I was convinced I could beat it to I ran back towards the house and tried again, a little faster. Time it only took me 15 minutes, I was happier with that so I made my way down to the beach trying to find a nice spot to dance and watch the sun rise.
SUNDAE
I woke up not being able to sleep, I already knew she wasn't in bed which meant it was still early, she normally comes back to bed after her morning outings. I sighed rolling over to check my phone for the time; 6:30. She wasn't going to be back for at least another hour, she liked to dance while the sun rose, I don't understand why she had to get up so early to do so? If she really insisted on dancing to the sunrise why couldn't she dance first then run? At least then she wouldn't be running alone in the dark.
It worried me enough when we were at home, and she knew her route at home like the back of her hand. She didn't know Busan that well, we barely come here and after everything that happened yesterday. But I couldn't exactly ask her to stop doing it.
I let out another sigh before throwing the covers back, I slid on my pants on, before making my way out and up the stairs to the kitchen. There was a big pot on the stove, a few containers of side dishes, a stack of rice bowls next to a stack of soup bowls and the rice cooker's light indicated there was rice being kept warm in there. I lifted the lid of the pot, my nose was filled with the aroma of hangover soup.
I let out a smile, this was the side of Lisa the others never got to see, she would definitely deny any involvement in this when the boys ask who made it. I don't know why she was so against letting them see this see this side of her? Maybe she didn't want to be seen as anything but one of the guys? Maybe it was a wall she wanted to keep up?
I decided I wasn't going to be able to get back to sleep anyway so I served myself some breakfast, made myself a cup of coffee and went and sat out on the terrace while I waited for her to get home.
KANGSIK
There was a throbbing in my head, and my stomach was doing flipped threatening to force the contents out. Opening my eyes was a struggle, slowly, oh so slowly, I sat up trying to remember last night, but everything after Woo taking JaeEun by the hand and directing her to his room just off the terrace was just fuzzy, flashes of images, I wasn't sure which were real and which were dreams.
Finally managing to get my eyes open, I looked around the room to make sure I was still at Woo's. My eyes stopped on the glass of water and box of aspirin next to the bed with a note that read; Take two drunktard.
I couldn't even managed the strength to be irritated, I just did as the note said and laid back down until the started to work or my stomach stopped threatening to exposed what I'd consumed last night, which ever came first.
WOO
Her arm was wrapped over me when I woke up, I frowned letting out a sigh and carefully lifting her arm off me so I could get out of bed. I slide on some pants and my shirt, stretching before making my way out of the room. Sundae was already sitting at the table with his breakfast and a cup of what I assumed was coffee.
"Morning," I yawned sitting down next to him.
"She still asleep?" he nodded towards my bedroom door.
"Mm, she'll probably stay that way for a while," I smirked.
"So sure of yourself," he shook his head at me.
"Lisa still out running?" I asked, looking around, the run had risen so she should be back by now.
"She's in the shower, trying to wake herself up a bit," he sighed.
"What time did you guys end up going to bed?"
"About 3, after I got Kangsik down the stairs into his own bed,"
"How is he?" I smirked.
"After last night, I'll be surprised if he even gets up this morning, he was so drunk I was worried he was going to throw up going down the stairs,"
"That would not have been easy to clean up," I frowned shaking my head.
"He should have just drunk the can in one-shot and been done with it,"
"You really think Lisa would have let him be done with it?" I raised an eyebrow.
"Let who be done with what?" Lisa asked coming out the door drying her hair with a towel.
"Let Kangsik stop drinking after the beer you planted?"
"Oh, no, he was having fun,"
"You were having fun," I corrected.
"So was he, and none of you had any complaints," she stated with a sassy tone.
"Come here," Sundae sighed, she gave him a grumpy face but did as he said.
"Towel," he held his hand out.
"Why?"
"You always miss a bit at the back, give me the towel. I'll do it," she continued to frown with an added pout. Her lip looked worse today, I could see Sundae avoiding looking directly at it, I just couldn't figure out if he was avoiding it so Lisa wasn't self conscious, or so he didn't get mad.
"Please," he gave her a small smiled, she let out a sigh handing him the towel.
"Turn," he instructed.
"I'm going to get a coffee, anyone else?" I asked, they both shook their head.
"Can I have a bottle of water though?" Lisa called after me.
"Sure,"
KANGSIK
Once that aspirin started to work and it was bearable for me to stand and move, I made my way out and up the stairs and into the kitchen as Woo was coming in from the terrace. I don't think any amount of aspirin could have helped with the climbing of the stairs.
"Morning drunkie," he smirked.
"I hate you," I glared shielding my eyes from the sun.
"Here," he laughed handing me a pair of sunglasses he picked up from the cabinet behind the lounge.
"Thanks," I slid them on my face, they helped, only slightly but still enough to remove me hand from my face.
"Coffee?" he offered.
"I'm good,"
"Have some food then," he nodded to the pot on the stove.
"Who made hangover soup?" I frowned.
"I don't know, probably Sundae," he shrugged.
"Mm," I mumbled yawning, if Sundae went to the effort it would be rude to decline.
"Are you sure you don't want a coffee?" he smirked raising an eyebrow.
"Yeah," I yawned again.
"Take this to Lisa and go sit up there, I'll bring the food to you,"
"It's fine I've got it,"
"No you don't, and if you break one of my bowls I'll kill you," he handed me a bottle of water.
"Give it to Lisa and go sit," he instructed.
I made my way up the stairs resisting the urge to just crawl, I don't think I've ever been this hungover. I don't even know how I managed to get so drunk, I don't normally drink more than a few glasses of wine and I try to stay away from beer and Soju because my tolerance for it isn't that high.
"How's the hangover?" Lisa smirked when she seen me.
"I've never had a headache so bad, and I live with you," I retorted.
"You shouldn't have drunk so much," she shrugged.
"Here," Sundae stated handing her the towel he was using to dry her hair. She has no idea how lucky she is.
"You made me," I frowned sitting down across the table from the two.
"I didn't make you do anything, you could have just drunk your beer and been done with it, but you decided to play the game, and then you continued on with the drinking game, you could have stopped at any time,"
"Yeah, sure I could have," I rolled my eyes as she made herself comfortable on Sundae's lap.
"I don't control you, you're a grown up," she shrugged.
"Whatever, my head hurts too much to argue with you, here," I sighed sliding the bottle of water I was still holding across the table.
"You're so cute when you're grumpy," Woo stated putting a tray of food down in front of me.
"So what's the plan for today?" Lisa asked, the three of us boys looked between one another.
"I'm thinking the beach," she stated picking up Woo's cup of coffee and taking a sip.

SUNDAE
"Is he coming?" Woo asked sitting down at the booth with our drinks.
"Of course he is," Lisa smiled.
"He's not going to be happy," I warned.
"Not to begin with, no. But he'll eventually warm up to the idea, especially seeing as he has no where else to go right now," she dangled the keys.
"How did you get my keys?" Woo frowned at her.
"You left them on the table," she shrugged.
"Just drink trouble maker," he shook his head at her but made no attempt to get them back.
She glared slightly at him poking her tongue out, as she took a sip she hissed and quickly put the glass back on the table touching her lip carefully. Pouting she let an frustrated sigh out through her nose glaring at the cup.
"You okay?" I asked, I couldn't help but smile slightly at how cute she was.
"No, alcohol stings. Stupid lip," she grumbled pushing her glass away.
I laughed softly at her, she glared playfully. I got up, made my way over to the bar and grabbed a straw slipping it into her glass as I sat back down next to her.
"Drink through that," I instructed sliding the glass back towards her.
"Thank you," she perked up sipping away.
"Look at all the livestock," Woo hummed to himself looking at the crowded room.
"Livestock?" I frowned at him.
"What?" he raised an eyebrow.
"Sundae's right, livestock wait around for the slaughter. They're more like produce, they look pretty until you pick them up and take them home," Lisa stated.
"That's my bro right there," Woo nodded holding out his fist which Lisa bumped with her own.
"What about us?" A small group of guys four guys approached the table.
"Don't get butt hurt, she's a better wingman than any of you"
"Now you're really hurting my feelings," one of them pulled a face.
"You'll get over it, take a seat. This is Lisa and Sundae,"
"Sundae, as in the food?"
"Childhood nickname, it stuck," I shrugged.
"This is MinJun, GunHoo, YoungJin, and JinSoo. I grace them with my presents when I'm down here alone," Woo stated as the four sat down.
WOO
"Come dance with me?" Lisa pouted at Sundae.
"You go and I'll be out after I finish my drink," Sundae told her has he slid out of the booth to let her out from between us.
"Come on, it's more fun when you dance with me,"
"I'll come dance with you," MinJun offered smiling politely, at least that's the way he presented himself - I knew better. Lisa didn't notice the flirtation behind the smile, neither did Sundae, but he had his gaze focused on Lisa so he wasn't exactly seeing much of anything else.
"No you won't," I stated shaking my head.
"I thought I'd be nice and offer," he shrugged seeming to drop it, but my refusal only set him onto his next target; Lisa.
I like the guys, they're fun to hang out with, they have their way of doing thing, which, for the most part, are my way of doing things. But MinJun had a tendency to want what I had or to go after something I wanted. To anyone else it seemed like a little bit of healthy competing but in all honesty, I think he was a little bitter that I was free to come and go as I please, and that he was only the leader of their little group until I was back in town. That's not to say that I wanted to be their leader, I could care less, but the other three had a habit of following my lead and blowing off MinJun's suggestions when I was around, I tried a few times to just go with MinJun's suggestions but he seemed to only get a more bitter when the other three bounce at the idea after I'd said it. It's not my fault that they think I'm cooler than him.
"Hurry up and drink your drink or I'll find a new dance partner," she poked her tongue out and practically ran to the dance floor.
"She's cute," YoungJin commented.
"She is," Sundae nodded, he'd found himself a pen and was sketching away on his napkin, he had a habit of sketching Lisa, though I'm not sure she knew how frequently.
"Don't let her hear you say that," I warned.
"Why?" MinJun asked a little too intrigued.
"So what have you guys been up too?" I asked changing the subject.
"The usual," MinJun shrugged.
"I got a job, I'm modeling," JinSoo smiled, he was the youngest in the group and still seemingly innocent, well as much has he can be hanging out with this group.
"Oh yeah?"
"Yeah, some of us need those," GunHoo smirked.
"I've worked," I retorted.
"In your own company doesn't count,"
"It's not my company," I shrugged.
"So how did you guys meet Woo?" Sundae changed the subject.
"We helped him out of some trouble a few years back," MinJun stated.
"That's not how I remember it," I frowned.
"I'm surprised you remember any of it, you we so drunk," GunHoo smirked.
SUNDAE
"You should have seen him, he was barely able to walk, stumbling over his own feet," YoungJin smirked.
"He was yelling at nothing and when some guy three times the size of him passed by he tried to start a fight with him. I've never seen someone so mad, we were going to leave him to get beaten up for his own stupidity, especially after he swung at us when we tried to help," GunHoo continued on the story.
"A few other guys showed up, and some how we all ended up in trouble, Woo fixed it all though, I don't know what he said to the guy but no one pressed charges or got arrested," JinSoo looked at Woo in awe.
"What did you say to him?" MinJun raised an eyebrow.
"Nothing really, just apologized and explained my situation," Woo shrugged.
"And that situation was?"
"In the past," Woo pulled a face, it definitely wasn't something he wanted to talk about. I knew that face.
"Anyway, someone came and picked him up and we didn't see him again for like six months. He didn't remember us in the beginning but one thing led to another and here we are," JinSoo stated.
"Is that what you got up too when you vanished of the face of the earth," I looked over at Woo.
"Some of it," he let out a breath before drinking half his glass.
"So how do you know him?" YoungJin asked me.
"I've known him since we were kids, our parents we friends, so us three and another guy kind of grew up together,"
"I thought you guys were in trouble," Kangsik folded his arms over his chest. Standing in front of the table.
"It's too early in the night to be in trouble," GunHoo stated.
"I thought you weren't going to bail us out?" Woo smirked.
"I'm going home," he sighed.
"Did you lock the door?" Lisa asked coming up behind him.
"Of course I did," Kangsik frowned as if she were crazy.
"You're always so reliable," Woo let out a soft laugh.
"You locked the door without having the keys to get back in?" I raised an eyebrow.
"I was coming to get you three, and I couldn't leave someone elses' house unlocked. What if someone broke in?"
"We'll they wouldn't have broken in, they could have just opened the door," I stated.
"Can I have the keys?" he turned to Woo.
"I don't have them," he shrugged, Kangsik turned his attention to me, I just shook me head.
KANGSIK
I let out a sigh and looked at Lisa who was dangling a set of keys with a smirk.
"Can I have the keys please?"
"Nope," she stated popping the 'p'.
"Come on, it's been a long day I just want to go home,"
"And study," she raised an eyebrow.
"Yes,"
"No," she shook her head.
"Lisa," I sighed.
"I'll give you the keys if you sit down and have a drink with us," she shrugged.
"Do I have to?"
"If you want the keys, or you can go back and wait outside until we come home," she shrugged.
"But I'm not sure how long we'll be," she pulled a face.
"One drink,"
"Come dance now?" she turned to Sundae.
"Soon,"
"Lame," she poked her tongue out before heading to the dance floor.
"I like her," one of the guys I hadn't noticed sitting there before nodded. Woo frowned at him.
"Oh, this is Kangsik, Kangsik, that's MinJun, GunHoo, YoungJin, and JinSoo,"
"They're his Busan Bros," Sundae stated taking a sip from his glass.
"Well move over," I shooed Sundae so I could sit down.
"Shouldn't you get a drink first? If you want to go home that is," Woo smirked at me.
"Do they have wine here?" I rolled my eyes.
"Got wine?" Woo turned to the friend he introduced at YoungJin.
"Our image is nothing pretentious, beverages or otherwise," he responded looking me over.
"I'm just kidding bro, we have pretentious drinks," he nodded with a smirk.
"Just get a beer, or all you'll hear from this lot all night ridicule you for it," Woo advised.
"I don't plan on staying that long," I shrugged.
"Come on, we both know Lisa's not going to let you go home that quickly,"
"Speaking of Lisa, what has she done?" Woo looked over to the dance floor, the sea of people had crated and circle of space in the center, on one side stood Lisa, on the other stood another girl.
"They're not going to fight, right?" JinSoo frowned.
LISA
"Are you sure you want to do this?" she raise an eyebrow at me.
"Are you afraid you'll lose?" I taunted.
"I'm afraid you'll loose and the humiliation will be too much for you. I don't want to be blamed for your suicide,"
"You think highly of yourself,"
"I know my skill," she shrugged.
"Why don't you show us then?"
"Alright, can I have something to dance too?" she nodded towards the DJ.
The music began and she started to dance. She started off with simple moves which honestly didn't impress me at all, Kangsik could do them. I took my turn keeping the moves simple, even though it killed me inside, I hadn't done anything this basic since I started out dancing. She stepped it up a bit with her next freestyle routine, and things started to get interesting. It turned into a full on B boy match and as close as it was, I still won. Though, she didn't seem to upset about it, but I don't think I'd been too upset loosing to her, she's a good dancer, it was nice to have some actual competition.
"Nice moves," she commented.
"You too," I nodded.
"Want to grab a drink?"
"I'm actually here with some people, but why don't you join us? I think there's someone you'd get along with, unless you're already seeing someone."
"Is he attractive?"
"See that guy over there," I pointed.
"I'm not seeing anyone," she shrugged with a smirk.
"So do you want to join us?" she though about it for a moment, looking at Woo before nodding.
"I've got nothing better to do,"
"Let's go,"
"Drink first," she stated and we made our way over to the bar.
I figured Woo would like her, she was definitely attractive and there was no way she was uptight or a prude so she would definitely sleep with him. It is my job as his wing-man to secure him attractive girls, what he does after that is all on him, besides I feel guilty about him getting rid of Fake Face earlier because of me, I basically cock-blocked him.
"There's no marks," Woo stated.
"Told you," Sundae muttered.
"What?" I frowned.
"Oh, everyone though you to might be fighting, I told them you were likely just dancing," Sundae answered with a shrug.
"Who won?" MinJun asked.
"I did,"
"That's our girl," Woo held his fist which I bumped with my own.
"Do you girls want to sit?" Sundae offered.
"Oh, this is, ah, actually I didn't get your name," I frowned.
"JaeEun,"
"Well this is, Kangsik, Sundae, Woo, MinJun, GunHoo, YoungJin, and JinSoo,"
"You remember our names," JinSoo smiled.
"I'm good with names," I nodded.
"Good, you'll remember it for later," MinJun smirked slightly.
"What's that suppose to me?" I raised an eyebrow crossing my arms over my chest.
"Nothing, he's just being an ass," Woo glared at him.
"Here, sit," Kangsik got up, Sundae followed.
I ushered for JaeEun to go first, she made no hesitation, I slid in next to her followed by Sundae. Kangsik however, remained standing, not because he had too, the booth was big enough for at least ten people, but he still continued to stand and stare at me.
"What?" I frowned.
"Can I have the keys now?" he held his hand out.
"No,"
"But I had a drink?" he sighed dropping his hand.
"Maybe, but I didn't see you,"
"They did," he pointed at the other boys.
"Yeah, but I said a drink with us, as in all of us, and I wasn't here so you'll just have to have another while I'm here. Then I'll give you the keys,"
"I told you," Sundae stated.
"You may as well get another drink and sit," Woo nodded.
"Be quick before I get up and dance again, or you'll have to have another one," I taunted.
He let out a sigh and mutter a few curse words as he walked back towards the bar to get himself a drink.
WOO
"You're kind of bossy," MinJun stated.
"Maybe," Lisa shrugged turning to Sundae, whispering something in his ear who nodded, she then got up, slide over Sundae's lap and followed Kangsik to the bar.
"So, JaeEun, do you live down here?"
"Why? Are you looking to take me home already?"
"If you want to," I smirked.
"You going to have to work a little harder than saying my name," she retorted lifting her glass.
"He's not known for working hard," MinJun stated.
"Some would say you work too hard," I retorted.
"He's had as many jobs are you have," GunHoo laughed,
"Not true, Woo's done a few odd jobs here and there," JinSoo added.
"Not that he needs to work," YoungJin raised an eyebrow.
"Besides, MinJun works here," he added gesturing to the club.
"That must be thrilling," Kangsik stated sitting down after Lisa who'd brought back a tray of shots as well as a two bottles of beer for herself and Sundae.
"Don't judge, do any of you actually work or are you all supported like Woo is?" MinJun asked, he tried to sound curious but ended up sounding bitter and rude.
"I don't have time between studies, Sundae works as a kind of ambassador for his parents company, but Lisa teaches dance," Kangsik pointed.
"Think you could teach me?" JinSoo asked. He sounded genuine and sweet, with his outer appearance he looked the part. No one would assume he was like the rest of us, but he uses his looks and adorable personality to sleep with just as many girls as we do.
"I'm barely in Busan," she shrugged.
"Her schedule's kind of full, going back to school and working," I stated, he backed down, but MinJun seemed to grow increasingly more interested in Lisa.
"So, what do you study?" JaeEun asked as MinJun got up from his seat.
"Where are you going?" GunHoo frowned.
"You're boring, I'm going to find someone entertaining," he shrugged.
"Sit back down, who want's a shot?" Lisa interjected. MinJun paused and looked over at me, probably to gauge my reaction, then decided to sit.
SUNDAE
"Are shot's a good idea?" I frowned.
"They're not a bad idea," YoungJin smirked raising an eyebrow, picking up a shot glass.
I noticed he was only looking at Lisa, they all were. I mean I was used to other guys looking at Lisa, she was gorgeous, but at least they were subtle about it. These four just stared directly at her even when talking to someone else.
"Shall we play a game?" JinSoo suggested picking up a glass.
"What are we? 15?" GunHoo frowned.
"I don't know, a game sounds fun," Lisa shrugged.
"If you play a game you'll be too drunk for me to dance with," I stated.
"Shall we go dance then?" she asked taking a shot and slamming the glass on the table.
"You need to have your drink with Kangsik," I nodded to a frowning Kangsik.
"Alright, but then we're dancing," she told me.
"Okay,"
"Do you always do what he tells you?" MinJun raised and eyebrow, taking his shot without taking his eyes off her, there was a sly tone in his voice that was starting to irritate me.
"He didn't tell me what to do," Lisa retorted.
"Sounded like he did, maybe not directly, but it wasn't exactly a question,"
"Sundae doesn't tell me what to do, nor does he stop me from doing things, he simply suggests things to keep me out of trouble, it's my choice to follow the suggestion or not," she was getting agitated.
"Do you get in trouble a lot?" YoungJin smirked.
"That's none of your business," she rolled her eyes.
"Judging by her attitude, I'd say her and trouble are best friends," MinJun stated with a sly smirk.
"It's cute that you think you know me, do you pretend to know all the girls you talk to?"
"Only the ones I want to sleep with,"
"Why don't you back off?" I growled.
"Oh, did I hit a nerve?" MinJun smirked.
KANGSIK
Woo looked between his Busan friends, Sundae, and Lisa. Sundae was mad, really mad, maybe not as mad as he had been today in the convenient store but he definitely wasn't happy. Lisa wasn't exactly thrilled either, though she was more shocked by his comment than anything else. MinJun smirked, still looking at Lisa as if she were a prize to be won. If they both stay here with Woo's Busan friends things were definitely going to get out of control, especially after the day those two have had. I could hear Sundae's breathing pick up, Lisa tried to calm him down a little but we all knew what would happen if he worked himself up.
"Go dance with Lisa," I mumbled to Sundae.
"Come on, let's go dance," Sundae said through clenched teeth to Lisa who was still staring at MinJun like he was crazy but she didn't hesitate to agree.
I slid out of the booth so they could both leave, the table was silent for a few moments after they'd gone to dance.
"What was that?" Woo snapped at MinJun.
"What? I was just trying to get the girl to have a little fun,"
"She doesn't need your kind of fun,"
"I'll let her decide,"
"You'll back off and leave her alone, she's with Sundae, always has been, always will be. There is no way you're going to have her change her mind," Woo warned, but MinJun didn't seemed fazed.
"Well, if she's only ever been with him, maybe this will be easier than I thought. She strikes me as the type to get bored easily,"
"Leave her alone, she's off limits. I'm not going to tell you again," Woo growled.
"Good, I was sick of listening to you," MinJun stated getting up from the table.
"Where are you going?" JinSoo asked looking a little worried.
"You're all boring me, I'm going to find someone to entertain me,"
"I'm serious MinJun," Woo glared.
"I thought you weren't going to tell me again?"
"MinJun, just remember it's my club, I don't want any damages," YoungJin sighed.
"Relax, she's with her boyfriend, it's not like I'm going to steal the girl, I don't force girls to sleep with me. Besides, Woo would cover the costs," he shrugged walking away.
"JinSoo, go keep an eye on him, make sure he stays out of trouble," GunHoo stated after giving Woo a wary look. The other three didn't seem to have the same disregard for Woo's opinion as MinJun did.
"Why can't you do it?" he frowned.
"I'm older than you,"
"Fine," he sighed getting up following after MinJun.
"I think it might be time for us to leave," I looked over at Woo, who was still staring after MinJun.
"Hey, don't let him annoy you, drink your drink," JaeEun smiled softly at him but he didn't take too much notice, he did pick up his glass though.
"We'll make sure he doesn't cause problems," YoungJin stated, caution in his voice, were they scared of him?
"I hope so," Woo gave him a hard look.
LISA
I felt better after dancing, all the frustration and irritation seemed to disappear with each movement, and having Sundae here to dance with, or in this case, grid against, helped a lot too. I wasn't really sure why Woo put up with those boys, okay I understood why he hung around with them, but that MinJun had it out for Woo. He was definitely jealous of him and he made me a little uneasy.
"Stop thinking about it, Woo will sort them out," Sundae assured me.
"We've had over our share of bad luck today," I sighed.
"So we shouldn't have any for the rest of the week," he snaked his arms around my waist swaying with me.
"Always the optimist,"
"I have you, what's there to not be optimistic about?"
"So if you were poor and homeless, with no food, you'd be okay because you had me?"
"No, god no," I turned to face him.
"I'd never put you in those conditions," he smirked before kissing my forehead.
It always amazed me how he could change my mood with just a few words, it didn't matter the situation or the type of mood I was in, just a few simple words from him and everything that was upsetting just seemed to wash away, and everything was fine again. As for him, he always seemed to be quick to calm down when he was with me, at least if it was just me.
"I'll be right back," he let go of my waste.
"Where are you going?"
"Got to pee," he shrugged.
"Do you want help finding the toilet?"
"That happened one time," he playfully glared at me.
"Hurry up,"
I danced on my own while I waited for him to come back, there was no point going back to the booth right now, I didn't want to deal with Woo's other friends and I didn't want to put Woo in a situation where he would have to defend us against them.
I felt someone press themselves against my back, I thought it was Sundae at first but it was a bit too aggressive to be him, I turned around to have my face only inches away from MinJun. He was at least a head and a half taller than me but he'd lent down on purpose. He smirked at me, flirtation and lust radiated from him, I let out a sigh rolling me eyes as I went to take a step back. I didn't get very far, before I could get some distance between myself and MinJun, someone else had pressed themselves against my back so I was now sandwiched between MinJun and this unknown person but I was betting it was another one of Woo's Busan friends.
"I thought we could get a dance lesson," MinJun winked.
"Maybe you should go find a teacher,"
"You are a teacher,"
"I teach at a school, enroll in the class and I'll be happy to teach you, until then how about you and your friend step away from me?" I raised an eyebrow.
"I don't think you're really in a position to be telling us what to do," he smirked.
"I don't think you're really in the position to be forcing yourself on me,"
"Because of your little friends?" he laughed.
"You can act like the alpha male all you like, but let's face it, we all know the alpha is Woo,"
"Oh please," he rolled his eyes.
"Oh please nothing, I'm sure you're a big shot when Woo's not here, but the minute he's back in town you become insignificant, not only do your boys like Woo more than you but I'm sure they're more scared of him than they are of you. So I'm going to asked you nicely, on more time to step away from me," I warned.
"Or what?" he asked though clenched teeth.
"You've met Woo, you've seen him angry. Are you really willing to have that directed at you?" I raised an eyebrow.
The person behind me backed up after a pause, I turned to look and found JinSoo looking back at me slightly nervous, he quickly avoided my gaze and looked past me at MinJun.
"Sorry," he sighed before wondering off.
"At least one of you is smart," I muttered beginning to walk away.
"I'm not scared of Woo," MinJun stated grabbing at me wrists.
"What is everyone's fascination with my wrists today,"I let out a sigh.
"What makes you think you know anything about me and Woo?"
"It doesn't take a genius, you glare at him but it's clear that you're envious, you make stabs at him because you're bitter he's better off than you. Clearly you're not use to not getting what you want, well you weren't until Woo showed up and now he has everything you want. You despise him but you can't not be friends with him because you're scare your friends will choose him over you. And this crap you're pulling right now to make yourself feel tough, you're over compensating because you're insecure and feel inferior to him,"
"Inferior?" he laughed jolting my wrist towards him so I stumbled.
SUNDAE
He had a hold of her wrists, I was really getting sick of everyone thinking they could manhandle her. She was glaring at him as she spoke, that in itself worried me, she had a habit of saying what she thought no matter the situation she was in, and right now would not be the best time to be be lacking a filter. He glared down at her once she'd stopped talking, I'd almost reached them by this point but I still wasn't close enough to hear what she'd said. He laughed and pulled her towards him, wrapping his arms tightly around her waist, this freed her arms but it didn't do much good, he was stronger than her and no matter how much she beat on his chest he didn't budge.
"What do you think you're doing?" I snapped once I'd reached them.

Playing With Fire .3
SUNDAE
"Do you really think that was a good idea?" I asked looking back even though I couldn't see Lisa anymore.
"What?"
"Leaving her with Lisa?"
"She's on the phone to Rose, she's distracted," he shrugged.
"Rose isn't a distraction, she's more like fuel to the fire,"
"You're the one who suggested she ring Rose,"
"Yeah, but Lisa's already in a bad mood and she's probably hungry, so if your new plaything decides to have an attitude, which by the way, she clearly does. If that girl says something to annoy Lisa, she's going to be bad enough to deal with on her own. If she's on the phone to Rose, she's just going to be more riled up,"
"If she annoys Lisa she gets what she gets and she can leave," he shrugged again.
"Before or after you get laid?"
"Sundae, chill. If she upsets my bro then there is an entire beach full of beautiful woman,"
"I still don't think leaving the alone was a good idea," I sighed.
"Well the faster we get this grilled, the faster we can all sit down and eat,"
"If Lisa hasn't killed her first," I mumbled.
"We can cover it up if she does," he stated a little too seriously.
"I can't tell if your serious or joking half the time," Kangsik frowned turning the corner.
"How are the girls?" I asked.
"Chatting away," he shrugged.
"See, they're fine, we wont have to hide a body or cover up a murder," Woo shrugged.
"Seriously?" Kangsik frowned at him.
"What? Are you telling me we don't have the ability to cover up a murder?" he raised an eyebrow.
"Are you really discussing murder right now? We're about to eat and honestly, it's not all that funny," Kangsik scolded.
"I'm not being funny, I'm simply discussing the possibility. If Lisa killed Min Hee, can you honestly tell me that you wouldn't protect her by helping cover it up?"
"You assume Lisa's capable of murder," I frowned at them but they ignored me, so I stood there grilling the meat as the two continued on with their conversation about a hypothetical situation which would never happen.
"No I wouldn't,"
"Bullshit, the amount of money you've paid out to keep her in school and out of trouble, or the effort you've put into persuading an officer not to arrest her. She's one of your closest friends and let's face it, you don't have may of them. If she killed someone you'd be the first to have a plan to get rid of any incriminating evidence, and I know what would hold up in court and what would be thrown out, plus with Sundae and us two there's her alibi, there's no way she's go down for it," Woo explained. I let out an annoyed sigh.
It bothers me sometimes that no one else see's the side of Lisa that I do, they all just assume she's a bitch or she's mean, not that they don't know she cares about them. But no one else see's the Lisa I see, insecure and easily hurt. I swear no one else has ever seen her cry, they probably don't think she's even capable of tears. To be fair she likes to keep her walls up around everyone else, including Woo and Kangsik, the only other person that ever gets a glimpse of my Lisa is Rose, but even then it's only a small dose. Honestly, it's just irritating that I have to defend her to her own friends, they shouldn't be so harsh about her.
"I'm deeply concerned for your mental state," Kangsik gave him a worried look.
"Thanks buddy," Woo patted his shoulder.
"No, seriously I think you should see someone,"
"I see numerous people," Woo smirked.
"Another thing you need to see someone about," he frowned.
"Oh lighten up, here," Woo offered him a piece of meat. Kangsik sighed but opened his mouth and went to eat it, instead of putting the meat in his mouth Woo put his finger in there.
"Seriously?" Kangsik whined.
"Okay, sorry, here you go," he said but repeated his joke making Kangsik laugh and whine some more.
"I'm going to go check on Lisa," I handed Kangsik the tongs.
"She's fine, and we're almost done here," Woo assured me as he was pulling the meat from the barbecue.
"The you don't need three sets of hands," I stated making my way back to Lisa.
WOO
"They're unhealthily codependent," Kangsik muttered as Sundae walked away.
"Before you go judging how unhealthy everyone else's habits are you should go get yourself checked out," I commented.
"What do I need checked out?" he frowned.
"It can't be healthy to have a stick that far up your butt," I smirked.
"You're a dick," he rolled his eyes.
"They're fine, he's just looking out for his girl. She's had a long day,"
"She has a lot of long days, maybe she should stop getting into trouble," he raised an eyebrow.
"Today wasn't her fault," I scolded.
"I'm not saying it was," he said pulling a face that said otherwise.
"She's your friend, don't be a dick," I warned.
"You know she's not actually a bro right? She is a female,"
"She's my bro, and the best wingman I've ever had, boobs or not," I shrugged.
"Were they really just chatting away?" I asked changing the subject.
"Kind of, Lisa looked like she wanted to slap her, she was seriously not happy with what ever your plaything said, but she stayed seated, probably because she was on the phone to Rose,"
"Sundae says Rose is fuel to the fire," I stated, Kangsik looked at me as if I'd kicked his puppy.
"What?" I frowned.
"I mean they get into a bit or trouble when they're together, and rile each other up a bit but Rose isn't like that, she's well behaved and no where near the same level as Lisa, if anything Lisa is a bad influence on Rose," he defended, but Sundae wasn't exactly one to say something that wasn't true.
"How often have you seen Rose since she went abroad?"
"A few times a year, but we speak weekly," he shrugged.
"Right,"
SUNDAE
Lisa was clenching her jaw when I rounded the corner, she was glaring at Min Hee who looked a little torn as to whether she should be scared or fight back. She was still face-timing Rose, what ever Rose said seemed to offend Min Hee and have Lisa smirked slightly, they said their goodbyes and hung up as Min Hee spoke.
"Do you have to over compensate for not getting enough love from mummy and daddy with three guys?"
I could see in Lisa's eyes that she was hurt by what had been said to her, even if her face showed nothing but anger and slipping restraint. I think her frustration was getting to the point she was going to start forming tears and it was clear that she needed to take a minute away from the situation but wasn't going to just get up and walk away because that would mean Min Hee won. I made my way over to them, Min Hee plastered on a sweet flirty smile which only upset Lisa more, obviously that was Min Hee's intention.
"Hi Sundae," she battered her eyelashes at me.
"Lalice, can you come help me for a second please?" I directed all of my attention towards Lisa, completely ignoring Min Hee and her flirtations.
"Mm," she got up still glaring at Min Hee.
I intentionally reached for her hand pulling her close to me, lifting our intertwined hands over her head so my arm was over her shoulder still holding her hand. I directed her down the stairs, through the living room, down the other set of stairs away from everyone's eyes and into our room. I closed the door for good measure, still not letting go of her hand, arm still over her shoulder, I pulled her into a tight hug. She didn't make any noise, but her shoulders started to shake and the shirt I was wearing became a little damn where she hid her face.
I'd expected frustrated tears and ranting, but she was clearly more upset than angry which was abnormal for her when dealing with one of Woo's girls. It wasn't out of the ordinary for Woo's girls to be jealous or threatened by Lisa, but they usually said something to annoy her, there was some bickering back and forth, Lisa would rant to me about it, sometimes get a little upset, but it was different today.
"Hey, what's wrong?" I frowned letting go of her hand and gently grabbing her shoulders to pull us apart enough to look at her face.
She looked away like she usually does when she's crying, I decided instead of pressing the matter I'd just comfort her until she wanted to talk. So I pulled her back into a hug, one arm around her waist the other with my hand on the back of her head that she was quick to bury in the crook of my neck. Her sobs slightly audible now.
WOO
Sundae was leading Lisa inside when we walked around the corner, she was clearly upset, I haven't seen her that mad in a long time. Min Hee half smirked half glared after the two, but her expression quickly changed to a sweet smile and doting eyes the second she saw me.
"Can you take this?" I left out a sigh handing the tray of meat to Kangsik.
"Can you at least wait until you eat to get laid?" he frowned at me but took the tray anyway.
I walked up to Min Hee who beamed at me, batting her eyelashes. I held my hand out for her and gestured for her to come with me. She shot straight up and latched onto my hand, overly giddy. I lead her down the stairs in through the kitchen, down past the bedrooms and into the entrance way and out the front door, I picked up her jacket from inside the door and her shoes, handing them to her before standing in the door way.
"Where are we going? You just cooked?" she frowned pouting slightly.
"We aren't going anywhere,"
"Excuse me?" she genuinely looked confused.
"You can go home, I don't like girls who upset my friends on purpose," I stated closing the door and locking it before making my way back upstairs to where Kangsik was setting the food out on the table.
"That was quick,"
"It doesn't take long to kick someone out," I shrugged sitting down.
KANGSIK
"You kicked her out?"
"I'm not going to make Lisa sit here being annoyed, uncomfortable, or upset just so I can get laid. We're here to relax and have a good time before school starts back up. Busan's a sea of beautiful woman, I'll go to a club or the beach later,"
"Don't go to a club," I frowned.
"Why?"
"Because then you'll all end up at the club and you'll get into trouble then I'll have to come bail you out," I sighed,
"Or you could come and keep us from getting into trouble in the first place," he smirked.
"Don't you think there's been enough trouble today?"
"Okay, stay here," he shrugged.
"Do you really think you should be taking Lisa to a club in the mood she's in?"
"She'll be fine after she eats something,"
"What about Sundae? Do you really think he should be subjected to more drama?"
"Lisa wont do anything to to intentionally create drama for Sundae,"
"She's Lisa, she's already in a bad mood. If something small annoys her she's going to cause problems and you're going to get in trouble,"
"Good thing we have a friend like you to pull us out of trouble then,"
"What if I decide not to come down and help you out?"
"You'll be there in the morning to bail us out,"
"You sound so sure,"
"There's no guarantee we'll get in to any trouble, besides, I have prior experience with the situation,"
"Yeah, well, you'll have to use your ability to talk your way out of trouble because I'm not coming to get you," I warned.
He knew it was an empty threat but rather than saying anything he just smirked and nodded. We both knew that if they got in trouble, even with all of my consistent ridicule and nagging, I would still drop what I was doing to go help them out.
They were my friends, and I couldn't leave Sundae with those two, he doesn't deserve that.
LISA
"You okay now?" he pulled away from me slightly, leading me over to the bed and sitting me down on the edge before crouching in front of me. I'd stopped crying a while ago, I was just enjoying our closeness, I always felt safe in Sundae's arms.
"Just mad at myself," I sighed.
"Why yourself?" he frowned.
"Because I let that stupid hoe get under my skin. I hate that I got upset because of her,"
"Lalice, you've had a long day, you're tired, and you're hungry. Everything just caught up with you at once," he defended.
"What am I suppose to do now? Go out there and pretend she don't make me want to hit her with a bus?"
"Honey, you can't drive a bus," he wiped a stray tear away.
"I'm serious," I pouted after laughing slightly at his joke.
"I'll just tell Woo she's bothering you and he'll get rid of her," he shrugged.
"You can't do that before he gets laid," I frowned.
"Why no? It's not like he can't go out and have a girl basically undressing herself by just smirking at her,"
"I don't think Woo likes them undressing themselves,"
"Hey guys," there was a knock at the door.
"Yeah," Sundae called back.
"Food's ready, so hurry up and finish," Woo teased from the other side of the door.
"Out in a minute,"
"That's quick," he mumbled loud enough so we'd hear him.
"Come on," Sundae stood holding his hand out.
"Let's go get rid of her," he gave me a supportive smile as I took his hand.
"It's fine," I sighed.
"Lalice, Woo can get laid later, she's upsetting you,"
"I'll be fine, she's not going to say anything with everyone there and if she glares at me I'll just kick her under the table or flick kimchi in her eye," I shrugged.
"No you wont, but you're so cute when you're being threatening,"
"You think I'm cute when I do anything," I poke my tongue out at him.
"Not when you cry," he stated seriously.
"Are you saying I'm an ugly crier?"
"No, you're never ugly, I just don't like seeing you cry, ever,"
"Let's go eat," I finally stood up.
He sighed but followed me back up to the terrace without another word, Kangsik and Woo were sat there talking casually, neither one had started eating yet. They looked up at us when we sat down, Fake Face was no where to be seen, maybe she was in the bathroom?
"About time, we're starving," Woo whined.
"No one told you to wait for us," I poked my tongue out at him.
"Where's Min Hee?" Sundae voiced my internal question.
"No idea," Woo shrugged.
"Shouldn't you keep tabs on your toys?" I asked, my words came out a little bitter, or at least more so than I'd intended for them to sound.
"He kicked her out," Kangsik stated.
"When?" Sundae sounded surprise, I don't know why, it's not the first time he's gotten ride of a girl that's upset the atmosphere.
"When you guys went inside. She's clearly annoyed you and she was definitely two faced, so I took her down stairs, told her to go home and closed the door," he shrugged like it was nothing, which I suppose to him it wasn't but I felt a little like a cock-block.
"You could have done her first," I frowned.
"Eh, bro's before hoes. Besides, I was thinking we could eat, get changed and go to a club," he perked up.
"A club?" Sundae raised his eyebrow.
"Or the beach, I guess but I was leaning a little more towards the club option," he kind of muttered.
"Kangsik has already been a party pooper about the whole thing,"
"I could use a trip to the club," I nodded, Sundae kind of frowned at me, it was obvious he didn't like the idea.
"I want to dance, and a drink,"
"Can't you just put music on and dance in the living room?" Kangsik sighed.
"I'll drive down to the convenient store and get beer and soju," Sundae offered.
Sundae was probably tired and just wanting to lay down, so I didn't want to drag him out, but that doesn't mean I want to stay here and lay down too. I'd had a bad day and I'd like to vent it out through dancing and a few drinks, and even though I told him he didn't have to come I knew full well that after the day we've had and the fact we were in Busan and not at home, Sundae was going to come to the club whether he wanted too or not.
"Let's eat and decide after," Sundae let out a defeated sigh, he had already decided, he was just hoping I'd change my mind.
"Okay," I nodded.
"So how's Rose?" he tried a change of subject.
"She's good," I nodded.
"What did she want at this time of night?" Kangsik gave a concerned look.
"This time of night? It's only 8?" I frowned at him.
"It's 10 over there,"
"She's not 12 anymore," I rolled my eyes.
"So what did she want?" he ignored my statement.
"Some advice, her and her boyfriend are going on a date, and she wanted to show me her new hair,"
"They're going on a date this late?" he looked worried.
"Yeah, their friend is preforming somewhere,"
"Oh. Wait, what new hair?"
"She's strawberry blond now, looks really good on her,"
"She's what?"
"Again, she's not 12 anymore," I shook my head at him.
WOO
"You're going to get cold," Sundae warned Lisa as the three of us were leaving.
"I'm not cold right now, besides you have a jacket, I'll just steal yours when I'm cold," she shrugged.
"Or you could just grab one and I'll hold onto it until you get cold,"
"Then you'll have to hold onto it all night,"
"I'd rather hold your jacket then be cold after giving you mine," he teased.
"Then I'll steal Woo's jacket," she poked her tongue out at him.
"You're so difficult," he sighed.
"And you're whiny, Kangsik didn't want to come, you don't need to take over as token party pooper," she stated.
"It's not even that cold tonight and she's going to dance until she passes out," I commented.
"At least my bro's got my back,"
"No, you're bro doesn't want to hear you bickering about a jacket for the next 15 minutes,"
"I thought you said it was only a ten minute walk?" she frowned at me.
"It is, but you have shorter legs, so it's probably take 15 maybe 20 minutes," I shrugged.
"Not if I do this," she stated running and jumping onto Sundae's back who wasn't at all surprised and caught her with ease.
"What would you have done if he'd dropped you?"
"I would never drop her," Sundae stated matter-of-factly, Lisa poked her tongue out at me.
"Stop being grumpy," she instructed.
"I'm not grumpy," I shrugged, she gave me a skeptical look.
"We should have made Kangsik come," she changed the subject.
"And how would have had done that?" I raised an eyebrow.
"You mean how do I plan on doing that?" she smirked.
"Let him be, he doesn't like clubs," Sundae stated sweetly.
"Yes he does, he's just too uptight to admit it. Every time we drag him to one he ends up laughing and joking with everyone. Besides, he's apart of our four and we're here to relax and unwind before the holiday is over,"
"Except his Kangsik and this is about the time he winds himself up," I stated.
"I'll make it my mission to have him enjoy himself," she warned.
"How about we enjoy ourselves first?" I stated.
"It's not going to stop you from getting laid," she shrugged.
"You have the house keys right?" she asked.
"Yeah,"
KANGSIK
I tapped my pen on the desk while I waited for her to answer, it was almost 10 here so it was almost 12 over there and she hadn't responded to my texts. I was a little worried and just wanted to make she was okay, I let out a sigh as I listened to the phone ring through to her message bank for the third time. She's probably fine, maybe her phone just died? I told myself going back to studying, or trying to. I couldn't focus on studying and ended up staring at the same paragraph for maybe 10 minutes without actually reading it.
I was going to try and ring her again when my hand started buzzing in my hand.
"Where have you been?" I asked as soon as I answered.
"Hello my brother, I've been good thank you for asking, how are you?" she retorted sarcastically.
"That doesn't answer my question,"
"Han and I went to see our friends band play at a bar, why? What's wrong?"
"Nothing, I was just calling to check on you,"
"Why did you call three times?"
"It's almost 12 over there,"
"Yeah, and it's a Friday,"
"Shouldn't you be studying?" I scolded.
"Not everyone was born with a stick up there butt and a book in their hand. But seeing as you wish to scold me for not studying, it's the first time in over a month I've been out because I've been studying, and Han had to do a lot of convincing to get me to come out and have some fun. Maybe you should try it sometime?"
"I see you fine then," I ignored her tone.
"Of course I'm fine," she snapped.
"Well next time answer your phone the first time I ring you,"
"I couldn't hear it over all the noise in the bar otherwise I would have,"
"I was just worried,"
"And I'm sorry I worried you, but you don't need to be a dick,"
"Sorry," I muttered.
"Good, so how are you? I hear they nerd-napped you?"
"Nerd-napped?" I frowned.
"Yeah,"
"We're in Busan, they wanted to unwind before we go back to school in a week,"
"It sounds pretty quiet there for unwinding,"
"Yeah, they went to a club, Lisa wanted to dance and Woo wanted to get laid,"
"What happened to Fake Face?"
"Woo kicked her out for annoying Lisa, she's already had a rough day,"
"Yeah I seen her lip, what happened?"
"Some teens in a rest stop tried to hit on her and after some comments and what not he back handed her,"
"Jesus,"
"Woo hit the kid and it's all worked out now," I shrugged.
"Why'd Woo do it? Was Sundae not there?"
"Sundae's first instinct is Lisa, but he held some serious restraint when he brought he back in. If he wasn't holding onto her I wouldn't have wanted to be that kid,"
"Speaking of love lives, how's yours?"
"What love life?"
"Maybe you should go out to the club and meet someone?" she suggested.
"I hear you're blonde now?" I changed the subject.
"I am,"
"Why?"
"I was bored and wanted a change, so it was either change my hair or get a tattoo,"
"You wouldn't get a tattoo,"
"Wouldn't I?"
"Do you have a tattoo?" I frowned as my phone beeped indicating an incoming call, I let out a sigh, there was only one reason for me to be getting a call this late.
"I'll call you back, I've got another call,"
"Oh, someone's in trouble,"
"I'll talk to you later,"
"Kay, bye,"
"Stay safe," I hung up.
"Hello Lisa," I answered.
"Hey," she dragged the word out like she does when she's in trouble or needs a favor.
"What'd you do?"
"How do you know I did it?" she sounded offended.
"Because I know you,"
"It wasn't just me," she muttered.
"What wasn't just you?"
"There was a bit of a misunderstanding, and then there was a fight, and some damage was done and now we're sitting waiting for the police to show up, do you think you can come down?"
"Why can't Woo just talk you out of it?"
"He's not with us, last time I saw him he had a set of twin crawling all over him, they may have left already, or he could be doing them in the bathroom. I don't know, so can you come down and help? Or are we going to the police station?" she asked sounding a little desperate.
"Text me the address," I sighed.

Playing With Fire .2
KANGSIK
It was clear all over Sundae's face that the only thing stopping him from hitting those kids was the fact he was holding onto Lisa. The one who had hit Lisa seemed to have dropped all signs of attitude and for the first time actually looked scared, and with good reason. Sundae's eyes were fixed on them, his jaw was clenched and he didn't need to say a word for them to see what he wanted to say, or do. Lisa wrapped her arms around his neck and rested her head on her own arm whispering something to him which seemed to relax him, only slightly. No one spoke, not for a while, Sundae just stared down at the teenager's, who were growing more anxious and dare I say terrified, Woo looked between the two on the floor and Sundae, the attendant stood awkwardly until he decided to pick up one of the stands Lisa had kicked down.
"Leave that, these two can do it," Woo gave his token smile to the attendant.
"We didn't do that?" the teen that hit Lisa frowned at Woo.
"She's injured and the only thing standing between you and an assault charge, besides she was trying to kick you and if she goes and cleans it up, there's no one to control him," Woo nodded at the stone statue Sundae had become. He was starting to scare me. He's normally all jokes and smiles, he barely gets angry or sad, to see him not smile is a rare thing.
But I guess his reaction isn't exactly a surprise either, there was nothing he wouldn't do for Lisa, I've lost count of the amount of times he's taken the blame or done her work for her to keep her out of trouble with school and her parents. But she's done things for him too, her parents sent her away to an all girls boarding school abroad a few years back, I think that might have been the most depressed I've ever seen Sundae, he pretty much isolated himself, it only lasted a month though, I'm not exactly sure what Lisa did, but she got herself expelled and somehow convinced her parents that she was better off staying with us three. Woo and I weren't delusional, we might be her friends but she did it to be with Sundae, the two are grossly codependent, it's seriously unhealthy. But it works for them I suppose.
"We've got to wait for mum and dad anyway," the quieter teen muttered.
"It's not our mess,"
"Well then maybe you should get to apologizing," Sundae spoke through clenched teeth, he practically seethed at them.
He let out a sigh standing up, Woo stood between Sundae and the teens as they made their way to the knocked over displays, picking up the racks and putting all the packets and boxes of snacks back on them. They muttered quietly amongst themselves, and a few minutes later a couple, who I assumed where one of their parents, came through the door frowned at them.
"Do you want to explain to me why I got a call to come down here?" the woman crossed her arms over her chest raising an eyebrow at them. They both physically flinched and seemed to hide behind the racks they were re-stocking.
"What happened was..." the teen that had been so full of attitude trailed off.
"Actually, don't speak. You're just going to lie to me," She seethed.
"Do you want to tell me what you and your brother have gotten yourself into?" Brother?
"Sandwich," Lisa muttered.
"We, uh, well, we were here to, uh, we were just buying, um," the quiet teen stumbled over his own words.
"I'm sorry, what kind of trouble have our kids caused?" the father finally spoke, directing his question to the attendant, he was calmer than his wife, until the attendant pointed at Lisa.
"I'm confused?" the father frowned.
"That young girl over there came in to get some snacks, you sons tried to hit on her and she declined. She may have done so a little harshly, maybe even slightly rudely. But your son grabbed her by the arm and refused to let go, he was warned and when he didn't let go, she retaliated, he let go momentarily but caught a hold of her again that's when her friends entered the store. You son tried to tell me that she was his sister and that she wasn't suppose to be out and refused to let go of her arm, some things were said and as a result, your son backhanded the young woman across the face, as you can see by the split lip," the attendant pointed, his words came out low and shy.
"I understand our friend may have said some things that were a little rude, but that doesn't justify your son hitting her," I added.
"You manhandled and hit her?" their fathers face grew cold.
"What did this girl say that made you think hitting her was warranted?" their mother fumed.
"Well, we went to say hello and she said no and..."
"You hit her because she said no?" their mother looked as though she was about to beat them up.
"But she,"
"No buts, you never, ever, under any circumstances, hit a woman. I don't care what she has said or done, it is not justified," their fathers voice boomed.
"But dad, she,"
"Shut up, I don't want to hear another word from you," he held his hand up and turned to face Lisa, his expression calmer.
"I am deeply sorry about my sons behavior, and I'm sorry to ask, but is there anyway we can work something out without involving the police? They probably deserve it but it will go on their record," he pleaded with her. She seemed a little lost for words.
"We've already agreed on an deal, we're not to press charges, our friend did hit your son after all," I stated,
"It was after he slapped our friend," Woo frowned.
"I don't blame you," their mother stated, still glaring at her sons who were quietly stacking the racks.
"So, if you're not pressing charges, what is it you've agree on?" their father asked carefully.
"A sincere apology, the condition being that if Lisa, our friend, doesn't feel as though they are genuinely sorry, we do press charges," Woo stated.
"Well, what are you two waiting for? An invitation?" their father barked.
Both boys dropped what they were holding and all but ran over to where Sundae and Woo were standing, Sundae visibly tensed up, Woo stood to his right, standing slightly in front of him, I think that was more to stop Sundae doing anything than it was to protect them. There was no way those boys were going to try anything. The quieter brother had tears steam down his face, the other looked like he was trying to hold them back. They both bent at a 90 degree angle, their apology full of honorifics.
"You call that an apology?" their father raised an eyebrow. They both looked at him as if they were deer caught in headlight.
"Floor," he barked and they dropped immediately.
WOO
We left the store after finally coming to an agreement with the teens parents, they groveled on their knees for Lisa to forgive them and once both Lisa, and their father, were happy with their apology they were allowed to stand. Their mother than made sure they finished cleaning up the mess that Lisa made, and their father insisted on paying for our snacks. After a lengthy disagreement, their father finally won, honestly I think it may have hurt his pride to know his sons had hit a woman.
"Key's," I nodded towards Sundae who was still piggybacking Lisa.
"I'll drive,"
"You sure?"
"Mm, you've covered three hours, there's not far left," he shrugged.
"We're going to Busan?" Kangsik frowned coming out of the shop holding the bags of snacks.
"Surprise?" I shrugged.
"Why did you pay for accommodation when you have estate there?"
"I didn't, I just told you that so you didn't know we were going to Busan,"
"Why are we going to Busan?" he raised an eyebrow.
"The beach, the women, the food," I shrugged again.
"You couldn't have gotten that anywhere else?"
"Are you kidding me? Going to Busan is like going to another country. Don't be stupid," I frowned at him.
"Over dramatic,"
"We still have at least an hours drive left and it's going to start getting dark soon, can you two bitch at each other in the car?" Lisa rolled her eyes.
"Let's go," Sundae gestured for us to get in the car.
"Where are my snacks peasant?"
"Peasant?" Kangsik raised an eyebrow getting in the backseat.
"Sorry, scribe?" she raised and eyebrow throwing his books that were on the passengers seat at him, it was only a text book and a few note books but the text book was pretty thick.
"And you want me to give you snacks?" Kangsik frowned, pulling a disapproving face.
"If you don't, I'll just get meaner and you know it," she stared him down. He let out a sigh and pasted her the plastic bags.
"Thanks," she smiled sweetly.
"These are yours," she threw him a bag of traditional Korean crackers with laver (seaweed).
"Woo," she handed me a box of pepero and a bag of wheat puffs over the back of the seat.
"Here," she gave Sundae a bottle of strawberry milk as he turned the car on.
"Strawberry?" he frowned.
"They only had one banana and I squirted the teen in the face with it,"
SUNDAE
We were about half an hour out of Busan, Woo was asleep, Kangsik had his headphones in while he read through his text book and made a billion and one notes, and Lisa was half falling asleep, half fiddling with the radio. She'd almost be asleep when a song she didn't like would come on so she would flick through songs on my phone, which she'd connected, until she found one she liked. After she's complained a little about how there were so many crappy songs taking up perfectly good space on my phone.
"Are we almost there?" she sighed trying to get comfortable in the seat.
"Half an hour," I nodded.
"That's so long," she whined.
"Why don't you take a nap? By the time you wake up we'll be there," I suggested.
"And leave you to drive bored? What if you get tired? I have to keep you engaged,"
"Kangsik's awake, I'm sure if I start to drive into a ditch he'll wake me up,"
"That's not funny," she frowned.
"It's a little funny," I shrugged.
"Now I'm definitely not taking a nap,"
"Lalice, it's fine. Take a nap,"
"No, I'm not napping until we get to the house and we can nap together,"
"Has anyone ever told you how cute you are when no one but me can hear you?"
"Shut up," she slapped my arm.
"Now you're interfering with the driver, so you want me to drive into a ditch?"
"Would you stop joking about that?" she frowned, pouting.
"Okay, I'm sorry. But you're going to have to stop being so adorable or I'm not going to be able to pay attention to the road," she rolled her eyes, but smiled and turned her attention back to the phone in her hands.
She finally found a song she didn't hate and drifted off to sleep. Woo woke up the minute I pulled in the driveway, he was already out of the car and unlocking the front door when I turned the engine off. Kangsik took his time packing up is study material and followed Woo inside. Lisa was still asleep, I thought she might wake up when I opened her door, but I managed to lift her from her seat and carry her into the house, up the stairs and into the bedroom we'd be sharing this weekend. It wasn't until I turned to leave that she stirred, pulling on my hand and mumbling, 'stay'.
KANGSIK
I followed Woo into the house, the ground floor was just an entrance way with two doors and a set of stairs, up the stairs on the first floor was a bathroom, a study and two bedrooms, the study used to be a third bedroom but Woo's dad converted it for when he's working this way. We stopped on the third floor where the kitchen and living room were. Woo collapsed across the lounge, I put my books down on the kitchen counter.
"Can you check to fridge?" Woo called over the back of the lounge.
"For?"
"Anything," he shrugged.
"There's still snacks in the car,"
"Snacks aren't going to get us through the weekend,"
"Oh, right," I nodded, making my way over to the fridge which had absolutely nothing but a water bottle in it, the cupboards were the same.
"Nothing,"
"Alright, let's go," he got back up.
"We just got here," I frowned.
"And we've got no food,"
"Like I said, there's snacks in the car,"
"I'm starving, Sundae, probably starving, and when Lisa wakes up, she'll also be starving. How are you suppose to cook for everyone if there's no food?" I smirked.
"Who said I'm cooking?"
"I'm joking, sort of," he shrugged.
"We'll go down to the store, get some food to last us the weekend, you can cook in here and I'll barbecue the meat, okay?"
"I'm driving," I frowned.
"As long as you're paying," he nodded.
"Sundae still has my keys,"
WOO
Sundae was almost asleep when I walked into their room, Lisa was curled up into his side with her head resting on his chest and her arm around his waist. He opened his eyes when he heard me walk in.
"What's up?"
"Just need the car keys,"
"Over there," he pointed to the set of draws just inside the door.
"We're just going to get some food, we'll be back,"
"Kay," he yawned pulling Lisa closer to him and closing his eyes.
"Want anything?"
"Banana milk," he muttered.
"Let's go," I nodded to Kangsik who'd been waiting outside the door.
The drive wasn't too long, Kangsik made a list of things we'd need while we drove so he was reasonably quiet, I pulled into the car space and turned the engine off. We were getting out of the car when the pink phone on the back seat started ringing.
"It's not me," Kangsik stated.
"It's Lisa's," I reached over.
"Who's Chesty?" I raised a eyebrow answering when Kangsik just shrugged.
"Hey hoe, took you long enough to answer," a female answered.
"Ah, who's this?"
"You're not Lisa, and don't sound like Sundae,"
"I'm not Sundae,"
"So who are you then?"
"I asked you first,"
"Yeah, but you're the stranger with my friends phone,"
"Lisa doesn't have any female friends," I frowned.
"How would you know?"
"Because I'm her bro,"
"Oh," she stated as if that meant something.
"What?"
"You're Woo,"
"Seriously, who are you?"
"What's the caller I.D say?"
"Chesty,"
"Huh, she changed it,"
"So, who you are?"
"I'm hurt you don't remember me, clearly I've been abroad too long,"
"Abroad?" who does Lisa know abroad?
"Wow, let Lisa know Chesty called,"
"Are you going to tell me who you are?"
"Nope, you'll have to figure it out," she stated then hung up.
***
"We don't need that," Kangsik frowned at me as I picked up triangle kimbap, putting it into the cart.
"I want it," I nodded I grabbed a few more.
"Shouldn't we get actual food, like for meals?"
"There's nothing stopping us from getting that too,"
"Except we don't need it," he stated going to put it back.
"I'm paying for it, so leave it," I slapped his hand away.
"That's a waste of money,"
"It's my money,"
"It's your dad's money,"
"Would you like to pay for it? If not, shut up and let me get my food,"
"Okay moody," he glared playfully.
"Just push the cart and follow me,"
We made our way through isles, Kangsik continued to remind me he had a stick up his butt, making comments about how something was unnecessary or that we could probably get it cheaper somewhere else. He means well, but sometimes, most of the time, he's just a pain.
We were halfway down one of the last isles when I spotted a girl reaching for something on a shelf she was never going to reach, I'll admit I did just watch her try for a minute, the further she stretched the higher her already high waisted black short shorts got. Once I was done looking, I made my way up to her, stood behind her and reached for the things she'd been trying to get. I didn't touch her by her bodies were so close nothing but a piece of paper would have fit in between.
"Uh, thank you," she blushed slightly when I handed her the box.
"No problem, I'm Woo," I held my hand out.
"Min Hee,"
LISA
I stretched out as much as I could being wrapped in Sundae's arms. We weren't in the car anymore, we were in our bed, well the bed we normally use when we stay in Busan, I wondered how long we'd been here? The sun had pretty much already gone down, Sundae stirred next to me but wasn't quite awake, I poked him softly in the side.
"Stop," he mumbled.
"Wake up," I poked him again.
"I'm warning you," he yawned, peeking at me though his slightly opened eyes.
"I'm hungry, wake up or let me go," I poked him again, a little harder this time.
"I don't like either option," he pulled me closer.
"Don't lie, you want food too,"
"We don't know there's any food here,"
"Woo came to get the keys earlier,"
"Yeah, but he's Woo, he could have found a girl and gotten side tracked,"
"My bro isn't going to let me starve," I poked him again.
"He might,"
"He'll just bring the girl back here," I poked him again.
"Alright, that's it," he grabbed a hold of my wrists and flipped me on my back so he was straddling me.
"Hi," I laughed.
"There are nicer ways to wake someone up you know?"
"Like how?"
"Like this," he lent down and kissed me.
"Ow," I winced.
"Sorry," he sighed.
"Let's get food before you get cranky," he sat up, pulling me up with him.
"Me get cranky? You eat way more than I do,"
"You're so cute when you pout," he kissed my forehead.
We made our way out of the bedroom and up the stairs to the living room, Kangsik was in the kitchen washing dishes as a few pots simmered away on the stove. I'm out sure exactly what he was cooking but the room smelt nice and my stomach made noises at me.
"Where's Woo?" Sundae asked.
"Upstairs with Min Hee,"
"Min Hee?" I raised an eyebrow.
"He found her at the store,"
"Told you he'd bring her home," I poked my tongue out at Sundae.
"He's known for bringing home strays," Kangsik commented.
"At least he can bring them home," I retorted.
"I could if I wanted too, I just have better things to focus on than flings,"
"No one said it had to be a fling?" Sundae stated.
"Could you go bother Woo? I'm busy," he frowned. "I think you need a nap," I poked my tongue out at him before turning to the stairs.
"What?" Sundae frowned at me.
"Why does this house have so many steps,"
"Come on?" Sundae laughed offering a piggy back, I jumped on him and we made our way up to the roof top terrace.
Woo was seated at the wooden table, his new play thing sitting on his lap. She was pretty, but Woo never picked up anyone who wasn't, she was wearing looser clothes than I was use to seeing on Woo's girls though, I guess she made up for the loose white shirt with how see through it was, the black bra she had on was a little tacky for my taste but it's not like she's going to be wearing any of it much longer anyway.
"Hey," Sundae greeted. Woo smiled at us, she turned her head to look at us. She smiled sweetly at Sundae but seemed to look straight through me.
"Enjoy your nap?"
"Until she woke me up," Sundae nodded.
"What makes you think he was talking to you?" I poked his side.
"I'm going to have bruises there," he scolded.
"No you won't, you can put me down now,"
"I don't want too,"
"These are my other friends, that's Sundae and Lisa. This is Min Hee,"
"You didn't mention any other friends," she looked directly at me this time.
"Is there a problem?" Woo frowned.
"No, but if I'd known I would have brought so of my friends to keep them company," she turned her sights back on Sundae.
"No need, Kangsik isn't into girls and Sundae doesn't need anyone's company but mine,"
"A little controlling are we?" she raised an eyebrow at me, but her voice was sweet as if she were making a joke, he face showed clearly that she was baiting me. I just looked at Woo who gave me a 'Please be nice' look.
"We've had a long day,"
"I can see that. What happened to your face?" she sounded concerned but she the attitude her face radiated when she said the word 'face' made me want to smack her across hers.
"Why don't we go see if Kangsik needs any help?" Sundae asked.
"He doesn't, you can put me down,"
"I don't want to,"
"Oh, your phone rang while you were asleep," Woo picked my phone up off the table.
"Who was it,"
"Caller I.D said Chesty,"
"Oh, did you answer?" I smirked.
"Yeah, but they wouldn't tell me who they were,"
"What'd they say?"
"That she disappointed I didn't remember her, that she'd been abroad to long, and to tell you she called," he shrugged.
"You didn't figure it out after she said abroad?" I raised an eyebrow.
"Kangsik said the same thing," he frowned.
"Come on Woo, I only know one person abroad and I only have one close female friend,"
"He's always away when she comes home, he probably doesn't remember her," Sundae stated finally letting me down.
"So stupid," I shook my head taking my phone from him.
"Will someone please fill me in?" Woo huffed.
"Rose," Sundae stated sitting down.
"Oh!" Woo shook his head.
"Who's Rose?" Woo's play thing asked sounding slightly bitter.
"My lesbian," I answered in the same bitter tone.
"She's Kangsik's little sister," Woo explained.
"She's not so little anymore,"
"She was never that little though was she, she was always a bit on the big side," he pulled a face tilting his head slightly.
"Not anymore she's not," I stated.
"No?" Woo asked, genuinely curious, plastic face didn't seem to like that though. I'm not sure she can even pull expressions with how much work she's had done on her face.
"The little bit of weight she had migrated to her boobs," I nodded.
"Little bit of weight?" Woo raised and eyebrow.
"Be careful, that's my lesbian you're talking about," I glared playfully.
"I'm just saying she was a little over weight," he defended.
"Yeah well, if you saw her know you'd try and jump her," I stated.
"I don't think so," Kangsik frowned.
"Relax, I'm not going to sleep with my friends sister,"
"If you didn't know she was Kangsik's little sister, you'd be all over that in a heart beat," I stated, knowing that it was irritating the fake faced bimbo sitting on Woo's lap.
"Can we not talk about Woo and my sister? It'll never happen," Kangsik scolded.
"I'm just saying, she's jumpable," I shrugged.
"The side dishes and rice are done, the soups almost done, so you might want to grill the meat," he ignored my comment.
"Feel like giving me a hand?" Woo turned to Sundae.
"Sure," he nodded hesitantly after looking between me and Fake Face.
"Are you going to sit out here with the girls?" Woo asked Kangsik who gave him an 'are-you-serious?' look.
"No, I'm going to go inside and study,"
"Awe, come on, come sit with us so we're not lonely," Fake Face pouted.
"You've got each other,"
"But there's no one here to protect us," she tried being cute.
"Lisa's here," he pointed, that's my gay.
"So?" she frowned.
"She can handle her own,"
"I can see that from her face," she stated sarcastically.
"Want me to prove it?" I raised an eyebrow, she just rolled her eyes at me.
"Come one, please?"
"Aren't you here with Woo?" I stated.
"Lalice, why don't you call Rose back?" Sundae suggested, his tone suggestive but his face was calm and held a sweet smile.
"Okay," I let out an exaggerated sigh.
"Play nice," Woo raised his eyebrow, I'd half expected him to be talking to me, but his gaze was directed at Fake Face, I couldn't help but smirk.
Kangsik made his way back inside to go study, Woo and Sundae headed off to the barbecue which was around the corner, close enough to hear me if I were to yell but far enough away to not hear me speaking normally.
"You must be quite proud of yourself," she glare at me the second the boys were gone.
"You have no idea," I smirked.
"Do you really think someone like you deserves the attention from three guys that attractive?"
"You should be nice to me," I warned.
"Why?" she pulled a disgusted face.
I just smirked and dialed Rose's number, she answered on the second ring.
"Woo or Hoe?" she asked.
"Hoe," I stated proudly.
"About time, I've been trying to reach you all day,"
"I was in the car, the signal was probably all over the place,"
"Where'd you go?"
"We're in Busan, we kidnapped your brother,"
"Put him in the trunk again?"
"Yep," I nodded knowing she couldn't see me, I heard her laughing.
"Did he figure out who I was?" she asked casually.
"No, Sundae had to tell him,"
"Oh,"
"Disappointed?" I smirked.
"What? Pfft, no, why would I be?"
"I don't know, the crush you've had on him since forever," I shrugged.
"I have a boyfriend, I don't care if Woo knows who I am,"
"No you don't,"
"Yes I do,"
"You have a friend you bone,"
"Well yeah, but we don't bone anyone else,"
"When was the last time you went on a date?"
"Today,"
"What'd you do?"
"We went shopping,"
"That's not a date,"
"It's totally a date,"
"What ever you say,"
"Why'd you change my contact name from Whore to Chesty?" she changed the subject.
"Because you are Chesty,"
"Yeah, you're right. So what are you up too?"
"I'm sitting with Woo's new one and done while I wait for the boys to grill the meat," Fake face glared at me when I referred to her as a one and done.
"Is she pretty?"
"Do you care?" I teased.
"He's Woo, of course she's pretty," she answered who own question ignoring mine.
"She's actually not that pretty, her face is definitely more artificial than natural. I'm a little worried if she goes near something that's too hot her face will melt," she was clenching her jaw glaring at me.
"Show me?"
"Face time?" I asked.
I tapped a few buttons and waited for the camera to work, a few seconds later, Roses face appeared on the phone screen.
"You're strawberry blonde," I nodded in approval.
"You said it'd look okay,"
"I'd do you,"
"What the shit happened to your lip?" she frowned.
"It looks gross right?"
"Yes," Fake Face muttered.
"Yeah well you look like that," I snapped.

Playing With Fire - Character Profiles
LISA
Lisa isn't known for having a feminine persona, or being overly polite, or even really that nice. This usually gets her into a bit of trouble, more often than not. Not that anyone really minds too much, it keeps things interesting. Her love for dance has made her already difficult relationship with her mother even more so, and though she may not admit it nor act like she cares for it, her mother's approval or at least acknowledgement is something she strives for.
SUNDAE (SeJun)
Sundae appears to be quiet and reserved and will often be found sitting back with his friends or with his attention in his sketchbook, but he has his reasons for being that way. It's a rare occurrence to not see him with a smile on his face unless, of course, you take Lisa away from him. He's taken on the role as Lisa's protector, he supports her no matter what, even if he doesn't exactly understand her reasoning, and won't stand for anyone to treat her badly.
WOO (SeungWoo)
Woo's faced a few struggles in life that have left him questioning where he should be heading, and though he still hasn't overcome all of those struggles, he seems to have directed himself towards the path he's still unsure whether he should take. In an attempt to distract himself from the choices he needs to make, he goes out when he can and spends time with different women, but even that he unknowingly seems to be growing bored of.
KANGSIK (Seungsik)
Kangsik is a very by the book kind of person, his consistent studying and insistence on following the rules has him portrayed to be an uptight rich kid. Though for the most part that it true, he is also an excessively loyal friend there isn't anything he wouldn't do to help his friends out of trouble. A seemingly good quality being that even though he consistently tells them he won't, he is frequently pulling his friends from all kinds of predicaments.
GUMMY
Gummy is Lisa's little brother. He idolizes Sundae and will do things just because Sundae has done them or said he likes them. He has grown up travelling with his parents and hasn't had that many opportunities to spend time with other children his ages. So he's a bit of a loner at school and tends to attach himself to those who are older than him like teachers.
ROSE
Rose has been studying abroad since grade school, only coming home once a year to see her friends and family. She used to hold some resentment in the fact that her parents sent her away and still sometimes does, but she also understands that she wouldn't have experienced the things she has or met the people she has if she'd stayed in Korea. She has a straightforward personality and doesn't care much for being involved in drama, especially if it's not hers.
RAMEN (Hanse)
Ramen is loud, sassy and lacks any form of filter. He says what he means and means what he says no matter who he's talking to, this can be an issue sometimes but he doesn't care all that much if he offends someone because it's his opinion. He is also a lot of fun to have around and has a tendency to be able to lighten up the mood of a room almost as quickly as he can bring it down.
